Dear Seniors,
I observe that, there are some rejections even after DD or CC got charged and for them ECAS status not updated.

In my case, my DD got encashed on 16.10.2014 and on the same day ECAS got updated as "We have received your application"

But waiting for PER.

Throw your opinions whether my assumption that once ECAS got updated, rejection chances are NIL as they will generate file number before updating in ECAS, where as if ECAS not updated there may be slim chances of rejection.

Bro 9 to 12 june charged applicants just got PER. You are next in queue.... so little more patience and PER will land in your inbox.

And moreover ...Its a good news that your ecas has been updated.

Good luck

Hi Seniors.

I received my PER on Aug 19th. After that there are no communication from NDVO.

its been 62 days... :(. There are people who got MR with PER date on September.

Should I contact VO, Or just wait for updates from them ???

I would suggest, completely ignore such unsatisfied person who throws -1 on silly things, but i am sure there are at-least 50 ppl at a time, who will always share +1 for you guys, sorry i am karmafied still for you Century but, gave my +1 to Ashif_eee.

Else whoever gave -1 to you guys, are not aware of your position @ forum or might have understood in a wrong way where you have posted.

Oh!! It's interesting case.

Last week me and Ashif bhai almost at the same time received -3 and this week also almost same time got another -3. I can't remember from when this -3 has started.

Seems like someone is very very unhappy with both of us and opened 3 accounts to pound us with -3 every week. ::) ::) ::)

It would be better if that person inform us the reason behind his frustration - we could have rectified ourselves.

Wow, check out this link:
http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?mthd=tp&crtr.page=1&nid=894989&crtr.tp1D=1

After reading this, I'm even more proud that I am going to be a future Canadian.

Me too. Canada is one of the most caring and generous countries in the world when it comes to its relations with the developing world.

+1 to Canada :D

My suggestion is to do both.

You send a request physically. After 2 weeks of receiving the request in hard copy, send e-mail with the attachment.

Hi All,

A small advise needed here...

I got my PER on Oct 17. I had submitted another application in mid Aug in 1114 with cc payment mode. Now I do not want to get that processed.

So is it okay to write an email to cio or should i also send a physical request to withdraw my second application?

Thanks in advance

Bro

I am not asking about CC transaction rejection due to Password issue.

But its about rejection due to FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION on the Credit card (especially Indian CC) which amounts to > USD 500 ?

Has anyone succeeded in in getting the payment done CIC for whose card this one is the first FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION ?

None of FSW2013 and FSW2014 forumites so far reported rejection due to password issue with credit card.

According to what I observed, self-attested work reference letters do not work. You will have to get the signature of your seniors along with their contact details.

Yes, get personal letters if company letter are not available. Self-attested letters will be rejected.

+1 for good advice.

I hope some seniors advise you regarding this. Here is my two cents.

First, you cannot write these letters. Someone, preferably responsible should write them for you.

Next, I would suggest contacting your 2 employers and getting a letter validating your Title, your salary, your hours per week, any benefits, and your employment duration i.e. everything except the job duties/description. This they should be ready to give on their letter head so it would seem official. Next, contact your supervisors and ask them to give letters without the company letter head. Please include their business cards in your CIC application. To make this better if you can get these letters notarized, it would be awesome. Finally add an explanation in your CIC application why you could not get the company to validate the job duties.

Exactly. This is what I did for one of my jobs.

+1

Someone on whatsapp group shared a precaution for all Medical test aspirants to avoid Drinking and Smoking for couple of days before medical. Not sure if it will have any impact, but thought of sharing it with others.

Anyone has an idea, what impact it has on Medicals? As far as my knowledge is concerned, Medical is not for general health conditions but mainly to check for contagious diseases (eradicated from Canada) and very sever health conditions which can put extra ordinary burden on health system. Any comments?

yes, you are right, Smoking can create further unwanted tests hence more wait. However, I quit smoking a week back just to have a problem free medical though even now am GOD willing fit. :P

Why aplicants from NDVo are not getting PP requests.

No one really knows, how any VO works. All we can do is learn from whoever has shared their experience. Till than pray and wait for the right time.
Dont give up and loose hope that's the key part here for all of us. :)
