If your application was received before Aug 2014 then it will count as 12 point, later will be 11 points. Check with others too.

Can anyone let me know how many days it took for you to get the 3rd line updated in Ecas after medical?
I mean days from medical date to 3rd line update?

For me, it took 8 days. Did medical on 10-Oct. ECAS just changed this morning on 18-Oct. (I've been stalking it since I got PPR this past Tuesday :P.) But I think once ECAS is updated, it means the regional medical office in Canada has reviewed it and is fine with the results. Others with knowledge on this, am I right?

Hey Obryan,

One thing, you got passport request before updation of medicals received status. R u sure about your dates?

Yup. My VO called me about 15 mins before I got PPR to ask if I'd done my medicals which I answered in the affirmative. Don't know if the results were already submitted by then and they checked and saw everything was fine, before issuing the request. Maybe they just didn't get around to updating ECAS till this morning.

Here are my 2 cents..

Do not hire any consultant to prepare your application. They are rip off. I hired a consultant to prepare my application for 2174 NOC. He charged 75k and did nothing except delaying my application. I handed my complete package to him on June 14th and he dispatched it on June 26th. God knows what was he doing with my application for 12 days. Had he dispatched the application on time, I would have made it.

Whenever I used to push him to expedite the case, he always used to say, 'You are safe. You are on track. I am 100% sure that you will make it'.

And now since the cap is full, he is not even picking my phone.

In nutshell they are good for nothing. If you want to spoil your case, hire them.

two of my very close friends had similar experiences with consultants (that too "leading" consultants). If you can reveal the name of the consultant in question, that would be good for future applicants. But yes, for sure, avoid consultants, they are good for nothing.

Some useful links for people scheduled for MR.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Hypertension.pdf
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Diabetes.pdf
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Cardiac_disease.pdf
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_BMI.pdf

I browsed through almost all of the Medical Handbook and the resulting links (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp) before doing my medical, lol. So I was well versed on what to expect and what results would require further testing, etc.

In my view old address on bank certificate should not be an issue.
However to be safe, in case you are not pressed on time, get the address changed to latest address in bank records and then get the certificate.

Cheers mate... Appreciated.

Shubham :)

Congrats man !

You're certainly charged for 1112 Appln (26th June).. given the current processing schedules :)

You can write to CIO to withdraw your 2nd Appln.... (which anyways will be rejected/ returned 'Deemed incomplete' ). The p/c of Ielts is accepted ONLY in cases where you have written proof from CIC (to be submitted along with p/c at the time of Appln) that they are in possession of 'Original' from your earlier Appln

Re: FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Netrawork Here.

Thks isud,

I highly doubt that would be the case.. you might have got it wrong dear.

If your CC is charged for CAD$ 980.. then your bank should bill you in INR at current exch rate (CAD$/INR) .. so it can never be a round figure. (Rs, 53,400/-)

Pls wait to receive your monthly statement from the bank then you will get to know the exact INR billed for online payment of RPRF.
