Hi,
Need your expert advice:
I have completed
- BA from Delhi University (3 yr) and
- PGDB (Personal Management and Industrial Relation) (2 yr) from XLRI,Jamshedpur

I submitted the transcript from each of the institutes to WES and it has been accepted too. However after evaluation the WES report have termed the
- BA from Delhi University as Canadian Equivalent: Bachelor's Degree
- PGDB from XLRI, Jamshedpur as Canadian Equivalent: Two years of post-secondary study at a non-recognized institution

Couple of questions:
- How many points would i get based on the above evaluation?
- How do i ensure that the PGDB is equated as Master's by WES so that the “Canadian Equivalent Summary” states “Master's Degree” rather than “Bachelor's Degree”

I think those $490 per applicant is only to be provided once your medicals are done and CIC is happy with your PCC reports/Medicals etc.

I submitted PCC with application, it was issued April 2014. Should I order updated PCC now. The reason I am asking because I see many posts regarding getting the updated PCC and I am confused. I will appreciate response.

PCC is valid for one year after it is issued, so you don't need an updated one if you already sent one as long as your application is transferred to your VO within the validity period. Only people who didn't submit one to begin with need to get it issued to be sent later.

Some people receive it with MR, Some people don't.

I will schedule my passport renewal now. As it takes about a month here in the world cup country, I will be able to get my new passport by the time I should have my CC charged.
My only hope is that CIC does not return my application saying the PP informed in my app is about to expire!

PCC issued in April 2014 should be okay as long as you submitted the application within 3 months of that date.

Dont get confused, both statements are true:

FSWP will remain open in 2015
&
FSWP will stop receiving applications on Dec 31, 2014

What I think helps to clarify how this could be possible:

FSWP will remain open in 2015 (On Jan 1st 2015, the FSWP will be known as Express Entry)
&
FSWP will stop receiving applications on Dec 31, 2014 (Under current format) and Begin accepting applications on Jan 1st (Under Express Entry name)

I got many time mail from few friends about why I am moving to Canada while having Australian citizenship? here is answer;
I would love to live in Australia. Australia is best country in world, I lived in US, INDIA and Australia. I visited Canada too. I rate Australia number 1, Canada 2 then US.

But my parents have green card and they are living in US, my sister is setled in Canada, my wife's parents are coming to US next year for permanent basis. So, I am trying to stay in west to stay close to my and my wife's family. Otherwise Australia is much much better for living compare to others....
weather is great.
Community is more open.
More multicultural
No Gun problem
No school shooting.
No snow.
No 50 degree celcious.

what else you need is just Family close to you...
