hi everyone.. I need your help pls..im anxiuos about the work contract i sent to cic.. in my COE it states that I gained one year full time experience but in the temporary contract it says from january to may the same year..since i was considered only a temporary/casual worker that time..but after my contract expired, the company no longer issued another contract..and said that they will not issue a contract extension..is it going to cause a problem with my application?does the CIC consider my experience as one year?please help im so anxious.. thank you..

Have you provided any documentation of the full year, such as an employer reference letter or other supporting documents? Did you explain this discrepancy? If you haven't provided any basis for CIC to tell that it was a full year then you won't get credit for it.

Hello, I am new to this forum and find it extremely helpful. I have applied under NOC 1112 and my application reached on July 31st. I just realized that I sent a copy sent to me by ICAS as part of my application packet. It is on the ICAS paper with seal and everything but has copy written on it. I received an original and a copy from ICAS but by mistake sent the copy. Will CIC accept this or should I sent an addendum with the original? Please advise. I will also update my info on the spreadsheet. Thank you.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Your application has now been placed into processing.

What I believe is, NDVO is waiting for Diwali to produce PPR

They want to make the next step a grand celebration for us.

This is seriously incorrect information.

On the background declaration form it specifically asks whether you have ever been denied a temporary resident visa (tourist visa) see Question 6(d). Any such denial MUST be disclosed. Failure to do so is a misrepresentation that can result in rejection and a ban from Canada for 2 years or longer.

On the other hand, there is no requirement to submit copies of every page of your passport that has stamps. The only required pages to be sent are those containing your biographical information and any amendments or notes.

You can always correct or update your application during the local VO stage. Whether this will have a negative effect is up to the people processing it; they must have internal instructions for such cases. At least it would raise a question for them.

As per my knowledge, London VO doesn't send AOR so after PER, how long does it take for file to reach VO or how can I find out if it has reached VO? And how can I communicate to VO? Simply send in corrected form to Canadian embassy in London?

Finally CIO responded to my email which I sent to them on Aug 27, after completion of 10 weeks from the application received date.

Your application was transferred to the visa office for further assessment/decision. Kindly contact the visa office in New Delhi for any further assistance.

Offcose not , it will not affect, just you have to inform VO if they ask for any update.
