Hi All,

I have just received the sad new that 2174 occupation cap is reached. I've applied in mid July but I never heard anything back.

1. Does reaching the cap limit mean that they have have already replied to 1000 applicants? or still they are in the replying process?

2. If that's finished, and lets say they haven't yet processed my application. Will they refund back the application fees? Or are these non refundable regardless if the application is processed and rejected, or not processed because is a cap limit?

I tried calling cic @ 1-800-242-2100 but it rang for 10 times and got disconnected. I tried multiple times today but it was same

guys!!! I checked my ECAS today with my UCI (TFW) work permit and to my surprise it went through it says in process..received Application June 18..but I dont have my PER yet...

We both are on the same boat mate.

I'm June 11th applicant. ECAS says In Process since Oct 7th

But no sign of PER yet.

Super tensed

Well, enough of jokes, at present they are processing applications received on 24th of June. You've to go thru those painful 120 days and few more hours of wait before getting your application fee charged, like everyone on this forum.

I wanted to know what does that 120 day timeline refer to???

i am also 14th July applicant, i have UCI# also got from last year returned application packet but it is not showing anything,
calling CIC before time 24 October as per SS estimation, is waste of Money and Time.
Yes if you want you can email them, they will revert you with in 2-3 weeks.

I got this information from chandigarh PSK that there is no need to book appointment for PCC

Just carry your form between 9-11 AM.

Anybody from Hyderabd applied for PCC at PSK?

I just filled online form but It doesn't allow me to book the appointment. It says appointment full till 22 oct 2014.

Any suggestions on how to go about booking the appointment? Can I book at after 22? can I do it tomorrow? is there any other option?

Nobody knows for sure yet, but it is a safe bet to say that they still have a few applications to charge and to process.
End of June, beginning of July should be good. Mid July is on the limit...you will have to wait a few more days to be sure.

From where ever u send (any country) don't use DHL they don't deliver in Sydney area themselves I use UPS or fedex ;D Good luck

After your application reached CIC, you need to wait for atleast 110-120 Days, to get payment charged.
So please don't panic or expect any revert before 120 days.
Wait for 120 days from application received date .

Do they also ask about the health issues we faced in the past but now fully recovered from them?

Yes, they asked about the health issues we faced in the past though now fully recovered

Example:

About your medical history;
Did you suffer from malaria, jaundice, hepatitis, TB, etc..?
Any surgery done in the past? If yes, for what?
Any hospitalization? If yes, for what?
Kind of medicines you took?
Any allergy?

About your family history;
Does anyone suffer from diabetic, BP, TB, etc..

About your habits;
Smoking, Drinking alcohol, etc
