I am 13th June applicant, have uci from last year. How to check ECAS? uci number must be typed with like ****-**** or ********?. it is saying we are unable to .............

Bro I am sorry but completeness check for june applications were done days back in september so there are hardly any chance. But obviously there is no harm in trying. Can you plz tell us in details what documents are these which you want to send

Wife's birth certificate!! I did not think it was a big deal at the time...

I mailed CIC 12 days back, still no response, followed up with another email yesterday.

Happy to inform that I got an email with words positive determination of eligibility to be processed on 7th October along with UCI & Application number.

DD encashment date: 30th September.

If the settlement funds are shown as Fixed Deposit, would they ask for bank statement of the fixed deposit account?

They will ask you to provide the proof of settelment funds. Either in the form of bank account statement or fd. Whichever way these are available with you, you can show them.
In my understanding the idea for asking bank statement again by vo is to ensure that those funds have remained in your account/name to prove that those are your own and not borrowed/arranged.

It is absolutly fine if the history of funds is on your name in any form (fd/savings a/c).

Change of address of my work place 10 days back I have
Received automated confirmation of receipt but as it said in that email
They only contact only if the information falls under
Their criteria ...now what will happen ?!!!
Will they contact me regarding that?!!!

Per: 4th saptember
No acknowledgement yet from NDVO
Ecas says same as before tha
We have received your application on 16th may 2014...

If I pay my fbi fees of 18$ via demand draft issued by ICICI Bank in india will it be OK as a correct mode of payment?.

As I am confused between certified cheque and demand draft.

Demand draft is very much secure and authentic. It should be acceptable if it is of the correct amount, have correct receiver name and payable location.
