Dear friends,
Request you to please let me know if below mistake could lead to rejection of my application.

I will turn 35 this December and have applied for NOC 2173 in the last week of June.

In the Schedule A/ Background declaration form, section 8 asks "Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years whichever is most recent. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing."

I have changed 6 companies so far and had 2-3 gaps between change of employment. As the space provided under section 8 was less, the consultant I hired asked me to provide all details since age 18 in a supplementary word appendix which I did.

I worked for 1.5 months in a large NASCOM registered BPO in India from Feb to April 2004.
I was searching for IT jobs while I was working here and was off work for a week to attend interviews without applying for leave.
When my employer came to know about this, they terminated my employment as they saw that any investment in training me was wasteful.
I was young and stupid and should have had a formal exit from the company via submitting a resignation.

I was training in IT during this 1.5 months which I mentioned in the word appendix but I missed mentioning about the employment tenure of 1.5 months as I did not have any document or service certificate for this employment tenure.

I have been working since 2001 and barring above 1.5 months of work experience, I have mentioned everything else in the background form since age 18 and have attached supporting documents.

Meanwhile, I approached the said employer and managed to get a service certificate 2 months ago which says the reason for ending of employment as termination.

Am really tensed and worrying about the possibility of my application being rejected.

Should I send my service certificate along with an explanation to CIC now and request for inclusion of these new documents to my application package?

Seniors please pleaaaaaaaaaaaase help. Am losing my mind and feel like kicking myself for the mistake.

Hey Dixie, I'm not a senior but I'm going to share my experience. When I'm working on my application I did not add one employer whom I worked with for only 2-months since I don't want to burden myself in getting my letter from this employer. I recently got my PER and waiting for Medical Request or PCC, hopefully all goes well in the Local Visa Office processing.

But in your case, that was more than 10-yrs ago, so you don't need to include it in your application. You'll be fine. Don't worry too much.

I have to redo my Ielts coz I don't hv the sufficient score plus whn I'm sending my application I will be sending along with a valid job offer....under NOC 2174.. I'm planning submit my app in end of October... Do u think I can still make it...

And is this program ending in dec as few members hv mention in the forum!

I already received my PER last sept 9, using my UCI I'm accessing ECAS but I can't see my application status. Does anyone have the same problem? When are you suppose to see your status? Or will you be able to view it if you have MR already? Thanks

I already received my PER last sept 9, using my UCI I'm accessing ECAS but I can't see my application status. Does anyone have the same problem? When are you suppose to see your status? Or will you be able to view it if you have MR already? Thanks

I got to view my ECAS after a few days. I've heard that the system is quite outdated, so you need to be a little patient.

You'll be able to view your ECAS soon. Be cool

This is normal.Try again in another one week and you should have an update on the ECAS.

i got 6.5 in R,W,S n in listening its 7..

if on 7 its 4 then my points turn to 66 n if its 5 then i get 67..

Sorry to hear that but on the web they say L 7.5 u get 5 points and 6 u get 4 points so I guess your 7 is 4 points. You still meet the minimum requirement but I think if you cannot get a point from somewhere else, you should retake the test to get higher point.

I had the same issue.
Give it 2 more days. Then inquire with CIC if you still can't access it. Sometimes the information required is entered wrong on their behalf. Human error. ..

Listening of 7 is 4 points please and not 5
7.5 is 5 points
8 is 6 points.
