Hi, I and my husband are applying for PR this month and I wanted to see if we are eligible for 2173 as He has 3 yrs of experience as Software Engineer and 1 YEAR AS Senior Project mgmt consultant. And I have 3 yrs of experience as Senior software Engineer. Pls advise.

Yes, as far as work exp is concerned, you guys are eligible for 2173. You can verify the duties mentioned for 2173.
Though, you need to check other parameters as well, total no of points - IELTS, Study etc.

Yes, not a bad idea. By CIO, do you mean CIO or VO or both? Also in the format, you can add Query.

I also think, rather than adding with the current spreadsheet, it can be independent spreadsheet as the number of fields for current spreadsheet are too many.

I meant CIO, because VOs are generally very fast in processing CSEs. But I guess we can do both. I also concur with the query field (addendum, app. status, etc.).

I am not an IT guy though and as much as I would like to implement it I lack the necessary skills. And Dmytrich won't do it I guess, since he's road to immigration is open now. Any ideas who will receive our +1s for a job well done?)))

Hello Everybody, as I can see lot of people getting impatient in the forum, I would like to share my timelines. I am currently in Canada and had applied for FSW in March 2010. At that time there were no CAPS in any of the NOC;s and there were many more NOC's.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 30 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter (PER) on June 29, 2010.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Singapore office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Singapore office on July 6, 2010. The Singapore office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 24, 2012.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You Entered Canada at the Lester B Pearson Intl Airport on Aug xx, 2013 and became a PR.

You can see there was nothing in 2011. They just went silent for one year. Have patience guys... the system is slow but ca'nt help it..:-)

Absolutely. What is important is matching the job duties. And presenting Reference letters accordingly. Tripppe-check the document list when you are done.

hi, I hope I got it. what is the next step any idea.

If decision is made for you to be a successful applicant after your medicals, they will ask for
RPRF(If not paid already) + fresh PCC (might), then PPR - Passport Request. [That's what I see missing in your timeline]

In FSW2014, they are asking for MR+PCC+RPRF.

Others can correct if I'm missing something.

If he's done the Medical examination and payed the RPRF upon request he's hundreed percent sure to receive PR.

Thanks God, I received my MR and RPRF email today. Sheet updated.
One question, I received the following at the end of the email and not sure if this means I should send medicals and proof of payments there

"Please submit the requested documents/fees to the following address:

Attention: Program Assistant CL01871 – CPP-O

Case Processing Centre - Ottawa

219 Laurier Avenue West

7th Floor, Section B

Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1"

Congrats and +1 !!

Ravi, How about it - CIC delay the launch of Express Entry due to the backlog?

For the sake of argument, you can continue it forever. Let's not create any confusion on what CIC (in fact the Ministerial Instruction) declared. Cicnews can be true; to get more application, it also could play a trick. So, let us not make any speculation and let's settle with official information for the period.

-1 for you.
Please check the facts first on official website.
Here it is for you.

Varuen, Canada's policy change over night. do you think they will keep express entry open with Federal skilled worker and Federal skilled worker separately only for 2014?

According to your timetable your medical was done in 2012. Didn't you do it again? As I understand med exam should be no more than 1 year old.

You're right but In his timeline RPRF is missing and as far as I remember before 2014 they use to ask it later after successful medicals.
