Hi good people of this forum,

Something's troubling me.

Yesterday I paid RPRF via Bank transfer in Euros to Paris VO. I requested swift from my bank, which includes all the necessary information that will prove the payment, and got it via e-mail. sadly 680 euros gone in a minute :'( ;D a happy sadness of course.

as in method of payment page, PVO "prefers" online payment receipt sent via e-mail when paid by credit card. Considering this, I filled the case specific enquiry and sent the "swift" mail as a document(which is in english) ; I thought this was still a proof of payment issued online.

I can get a receipt issued by the bank (which is not english) , too. Would VO require me to send it anyway??? What do you think?

one more thing; does ECAS status change after RPRF payment is received by VO? how would I know everything's OK with the payment process?

A recent conversation made me consider... may I have valuable opinions of yours

And next day I got my visa stamped.






But suddenly I woke up....it was a dream.. :'( :'( :'(

Finally I have got the mail for PCC and MR . It also asks to pay RPRF!! I am not sure what it is. I am based in India; can anyone let me know how to obtain a PCC please?


Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 26,700 - Is this for all members ( We are three including a 1 yea old baby or per member each?)

and the address to which I need to send both the PCC and MR is that in Canada or the address mentioned in form which is new delhi?


Please advise.

Good news from my end ............ :

I received by medical + PCC + RPR fee request today morning ,

I am 9th May applicant , PER received on 18th Aug 14. Moreover, my 2nd ECAS status not updated yet :'( :'( :'(. Will update SS shortly.

only concern is , just 3 days back we re-issued my wife passport with spouse name and my current address. and I received "IMM1017 form" with her old name, as I could not get time to raise case specify enquiry.

Now How should I proceed for medical ? , should I submit new passport pages to NDVO via case specify enquiry and on receipt of New IMM1017 form, than go for her medical.

or I should move directly to medical and send update passport information to NDVO with PCC+medical itself in same courier.

Kindly Help me out ...........I need your expert advice .............

From what i have read. Most of these cases happens everytime. If you have renewed your passports. You can always send a new copy of your passport alongwith the old (cancelled) passport, then as advised to send along a cover letter explanation for giving them a clear picture.

Lets wait for seniors to give their feedback.

Sorry if I missed the joke, but this is really not funny to me. You added some excitement to lots of readers after the first few lines, just to disappoint them badly with your last ones. You should really avoid such posts.

nothing happened in my case. I didn't mention UCI number in generic form in my recent application, after that I realized I was given a number back in 2013 but was rejected due to filled cap limit. Hardly this will affect your application

It is not an issue at all. CIC will input the UCI themselves.

RPRF : Right of Permanent Residence Fee; You have to pay CAD 480 each for you and your spouse. Total CAD 980

PCC can be obtained from Passport office or your local SP office.

These have to be sent to New Delhi VO.

On my latest Passport and National ID card father name is written as Raja Khalid Aziz, while on all my degrees from school to Bachelors father name is written as Khalid Aziz. What should I do ? An affidavit ??

There is no issue in my name in any documents.

Hello friends! What happens if I forgot to mention UCI in a generic form? I was in Canada once in 2012, but I realized only now that because of that I should have a UCI on my past Temporary Resident Visa already... I though that only people who applied previously for FSWP have UCI already... God, what a silly mistake... Will my app be rejected because of this? Thank you!

Hi, relax. I also did not indicate my UCI given to me when my application was returned last year due to cap full. I did not indicate the UCI this year but my application was accepted anyway. When I checked ecas, my status is also updated with same UCI. Have no worries, all the best.

There is no issue in my name in any documents.

Relax, it's a minor issue. My father's name on my birth certificate was only his initials. It was accepted together with my application. Cheers

That depends on the contry. In mine, PCC is only valid for 6 months....

U're correct! PCC validity depends on the country. It's not always 1 year. Mine is 3 months but u can obtain it within 1 week max.
