Just one input: unlike POS, the 4 digit pin for the chip card has not been shared with CIC (there is no place for it to be entered on the Fee Payment form). With these new chip cards, this pin needs to be punched in whenever the card is swiped at any merchant's machine (just like a debit card).

Still, I hope this is already taken into account by the mechanism used by CIC.

It's been explained a hundred of times at least that CIC charging is processed as POS and not as an online purchase, hence 3D Secure and Verified by Visa protocols are NOT TRIGGERED.

Hi guys,

I have a question. I received my MR on 26th September. The Ndvo has asked me for my PCC along with other documents. But my consultant had asked me to send the pcc separately as soon as I got my PER. The pcc was received by NDVO on 15th September. As per my consultant there is no need for me to send the pcc again. But I am confused. What do you guys say? Should I do pcc again and send the new one or just send the photocopy of the earlier pcc?

i have sent my application on 18 june 2014 and it was received on 23 june 2014.

i have done masters in computer applications and i have 5 years of exp of an mnc as a software engineer..applied under 2173.

i have sent all the original docs.. original wes report of asessment to nova scotia sydney canada.

i have got ilets bands: speaking:8 writing: 7.5 listening: 7 reading 7

they hve aalso mentioned that you need to take up the test after may 2013. i have taken the test on may 2014.

all the reasons mentioned bythem are invalid... this is really not a fair game...

why have rejected my application.. please guide me where i can raise my voice for this injustice done.

When you already sent the PCC ,,atleast send that acknowledgement of receipt of PCC to local visa office. You cant sit quiet. Need to respodn with a letter ..that you have already send the PCC.

Still, I hope this is already taken into account by the mechanism used by CIC.

The "CHIP" comes into picture only when the Card is being used "Physically" at a POS. When you make an Online purchase (for example) with the same CHIP enabled Credit Card, the PIN does not come into picture. VBV/OTP/IPIN is what is used in such a scenario.

Eitherway, this will not affect transactions initiated by CIC.

So a June 23rd applicant got his package back. That means they are probably done doing completeness check for June

I think they are done checking July apps too, since they had posted the June app letter more than a month ago, so by now July completeness check might also have been done. This is what i understand in the current scenario

@Kiran2014, you mentioned few pages back in one of the post "i have done that from world education systems, mentioned by them on the website. " do you mean world education services?? ofcourse i didnot find any org with name of systems on google.
Pls share the details of rejection letter you might have received from CIC.

I think it would be lot easier for people in this forum to assist you if you can post the exact reason that CIC gave you in your refusal letter / mail.

BTW, when did you get your file back? I sent my application on June 18th as well and my file also reached on June 23rd, hopefully they're not gonna return my file!

I think it would be lot easier for people in this forum to assist you if you can post the exact reason that CIC gave you in your refusal letter / mail.

BTW, when did you get your file back? I sent my application on June 18th as well and my file also reached on June 23rd, hopefully they're not gonna return my file!

this forum is so helpfull for so many applicants. On the other hand its driving you crazy getting all this information.....
