Few corrections :

1. Notarised marksheets and degree certificates not required. Plain photocopies are sufficient. Again marksheets are not even mandatory. Copies of degree certs are ok.
2. Settlement funds need not be 23000-25000 CAD. It depends on no of dependents as below
1 $11,824
2 $14,720
3 $18,097
4 $21,971
5 $24,920
6 $28,105
7+ $31,291
3. 2172 is a stone cold NOC. Apply anytime and you need not worry on CAPS.

As I Said, I have seen a case of rejection this very year on this very Forum, wherein the person did not include the mark-sheets and his file got returned. So , I would still say, please enclose both the mark-sheets and the degree certificate along with the original WES report. Why take a chance really? And better still, get them notarized...Again, why take chances? Just be doubly sure...

thank you for your reply,

so you suggest that i re issue a new passport now ?

or i can wait for per then by the time my file is being transferred i do the passport renewal

what do you think ?

We have the same case but mine will expire on Dec 2014, I had may passport renewed but didn't wait for the new one before submitting my application package on May 28 2014. I now have my new passport and waiting for Visa Office Correspondence (PER received 24th Sept).

I would suggest to renew your passport soon to avoid any delays. Good luck!

Dude!

Why you want to get into unnecessary hassle. I believe your concern is proof of funds, right?

You just simply focus on the liquid fund, or I say settlement funds. No need to show the property/asset, it hardly make any difference to your application.

Cheers!

I have a property on my name with my father as co-owner
I am still repaying the mortgage ...pending loan amount is quite substantial
Is it mandatory to get the evaluation done for the property? And submit evaluation with application?
Or can i submit evaluation when they ask?

Please help.

Hi All,

Got my MR request today !! 12th May applicant here. In the email they have mentioned the processing start date as 23rd Sep. I tried to edit the spreadsheet but couldn't.
Can anyone tell me how much time will it take for PP Request once I submit everything from my end ? Also, does MR request mean that the visa officer is satisfied with my documents or do they sent to MR request to all those whose file has been transferred to local visa office ?

Agree with Mapleleaf here. Asset/s value doesn't have any bearing in your application - it will just complicate your application, just make sure that you have the required settlement funds. Good Luck!

mambo,

I have also included notarised marksheets and degree certs to be safe..But not really required.

But if you say that there has been a rejection for this reason, then I am happy as I have notarised all docs and included marksheets and degrees. :)

Well the reason I m concerned abt it is that mortgage loan is paid out from the bank account that I am showing for funds. And I doubt that they might do verification on it.
What do u think?

Hello Seniors,

I just want to know whether 10th grade certificate mentioning DOB would be good as much as municipal birth certificate or not.

Thanks in advance
10th Certificate needs to be provided along with an affidavit mentioning birth details and parents details.

Hi

A few pages before i read about a guy, who had sent experience certificate or JD for last 1 year job only, and his total experience was 10 years.
He got a PER already... so nothing to worry... u may keep it ready and send it later if asked.

Let's remember if job duties are mentioned for only 1 year, then only 1 year of experience is counted for points. So if an applicant is safe getting 67 points with Duties mentioned only for one job, then, it fine. If he is depending on getting points for all jobs and has not produced the expected JD, then he will be rejected.

In Subash's case, if the two JD's within the same org belong to two different NOCs and he has provided duties only for one NOC, then CIC may or may not give full points.

Also in Schedule 3 form ,...has he divided this 6 year exp into two? And/ Or in his reference letter, have they mentioned that the below duties are only for the latest tenure and not the complete 6 years... If the answer to both are yes, then points are awarded only for the latest exp and not all 6. :(
