Hi to All,

I would like to thank you to all of you helping my to get the pieces together on application.

I just resended my rejected application. I would like to update the spreadsheet, should I update entry or create new one? Or maybe I should wait until will be delivered (Monday)

Thanks
Good luck this time, hopefully you will be in. In my opinion is better to update the SS, I think there is no reason to keep an old entry with no relevant data....

" Copy pasted from FBI website " you can google " FBI Identity History Summary "

Note: On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As as result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time we anticipate processing time for an Identity History Summary to be approximately 8-10 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery. We respectfully request that you refrain from calling to check on the status of your request prior to 10 weeks. For assistance, contact the Customer Service Group at (304) 625-5590.

+1 for the info ....In that case i have to wait for 5-6 weeks more.

Guys one good news for those who are waiting and worried for long time taken by FBI in sending the BG document :

The News is we can call them and ask them for reference number which the help desk personnel will give you . Then you can mail them about the status of u request at liaison @ leo.gov . Guys what the help desk told me is that FBI will give the explanation to the Canadian Visa office about the reason behind the delay and as per her they will accept the delay as its due to the transition of of system in FBI.

Note : As per her they havent started processing my request which they have received on 11th Aug yet

+1 for the info.. what is the phone number we can call ?

This is really helpful. I am mailing my FBI PCC request today. (Second attempt)

Fyi, right now they are entering data in the system and they have entered it for applications received until September 8th. Hence, once u send off ur application ...it will be a while before they enter your data in the system and you receive your reference number. But you can send them an email with your first, last name and complete address and they will reply back to u stating the reason for delay as being system upgrade. You don't hae to wait for ur ref #. Include this reply when u send your docs to VO, if u have already received pcc request.

Buddy you are right we have to remain positive and go ahead with PCC and help to motivating Forum member who helped me to apply early :) and still i am not sure whether CIC will entertain the explanation from FBI or not ... who cares if they have changed the system or not , because US is only a country like other
Hopefully they will accept the reason given by the FBI for the delay and forum members will go through this bad patch of whole process

The good thing is that you started it early enough i.e. on Aug 11th. Hopefully you will be fine dear!!! Several folks are waiting for the PER and starting process post that, don't understand why.

CIC has laid out instructions very clearly on the PCC. And even if IT upgrade was not happening, some folks would be delayed as they just haven't started that process till quite late in the game. There was unnecessary confusion about 3 months validity when that never existed post application submission.

Hi All

I got a mail from CIC , mentioning Positive Determination !!! :)

Question is , after how many days of positive determination mail , VISA office will send mail which is as far I know AOR mail ?

BR//Subrun.

This sounds like for single parents where custody of minor kids from the ex-spouse might be needed.

What form is this in?

Docs checklist -> Children's Information

Hi Suhit,

Is it good to have decision made status while the visa is not endorsed.. Please check and confirm.

I think decision made status should only appear once visa is endorsed.Seniors please respond.
