Hello Forumites,

I have few doubts pertaining to the different forms that need to be filled. If you guys can please clarify and answer my questions:

1) Do I need to fill 'Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP]' or can I just skip this particular form since only me and my wife are applying and
the information is already captured in the 'Generic Application Form' ?
2) Question 7(c), Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] form
"Is your spouse proficient in English or French" - Do I need to select NO if spouse hasnt given IELTS exam ?
3) Question 12 in "Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] form". For 10 months experience, can I select 1 year ?
4) Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] - Does this have to be filled by both me and my wife ?
5) For the funds, can I put my bank account balance in the 'assets' and 'settlement funds' ? Also, where do I put the stock/share balance (under assets or under settlement funds) ?

If i intend to send my application for FSWP - Software Engineers code by Mid October, can i have any chance of selection?

I have sent my application on 4th Sept for NOC 2171. Hoping for the best.

I am also a 2171 applicant. App received on 5th Sept.

I am pretty sure we´ll be on CAP.

Just relax and enjoy the long wait. 8)

How quickly do you think the Cap will move to 25,000? Think we have a few months? or weeks?
My NOC only has 3 so far, so I'm not worried about that. Just worried about the main cap as my ECA wont be ready for 6 weeks.

Iam pretty sure it wont reach 25k. You just need to worry about the cap of your specific NOC and if you say it has only 3 persons you are in luck. Dont worry and gather all the documents and fill the forms carefully.

The main CAP won´t be reached. Same thing happened to FSW 2013 and there were only 5k.

Complete your application carefully and start the process when you feel good to go.

Just be aware that Express entry will start in January and nobody knows for sure what will happen with the remain applicants of FSW 2014

You should be fine. I think that the biggest amount of application was received at the beginning. Now as you can see there are less and less people applying. from 3 to 1000 there is a lot...

I am reapplying and in my NOC there are 5 taken spots so far.

As I previously asked, does anybody knows, if on Medical they test Blood - as WBC & RBC (white blood count & red blood count)??

and....yeah they surely check WBC's in quality as DLC and in number as TLC

I received my application back today after a very long wait. My application was received at CIO on the 20th of May 2014.

However,the rejection was as a result from an "Error" from the staff at CIO. It reads " You did not provide us with a copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA Report) " even though I duly included my B.sc Certificate (copy) in my application. It was even enclosed in the package returned to me by CIO. So, how come they did not see it over there?

Why would CIO no take their time to go through applicants' package before just returning them?

I intend to send another application as soon as possible, but not without proving a point to CIO about their unnecessary error at least. Or what do you advise?

It is such a painful experience!

Applicants who have recieved MR specially from NDVO, did they had a backgtound verification done by VO with thier Employers ?
Any one aware of this..
Do v need to be in touch of our employers to chk thier emails and reply?

Kindly advice...
Waiting on MR.... But Ecas 2nd line updated today ...stating procesding started on 17th Sep.

Did you include WES report in the package?
