wolf_metallo,

My two cents below -
-- For your point2 below, I hope the manager letter(atleast) has all the NOC related duties are included, otherwise it is a reg flag. Your point4 with duties is not going to work - the duties cannot be attested by you(infact even for self employed people, they cannot attest their own duties)
-- I am wary of your point6. Are those timesheets certified in any way? I would have been more confident if your point1 or point2 had stated the hours(or atleast full time).

Please note that I havent checked your duties, so my response doesnt include any comment on that one.

Hi buddy, thank you for your input!

Yes, the manager letter has all the job duties written on it, along with the mention that I work "Full-Time". The affidavit actually focuses more upon the fact that I don't have HR letter and hence replacing it with manager's letter. I've copied the same job duties as that on manager's letter on to the affidavit - this I'm hoping provide veracity to my statement. Hope this would be okay.

The time-sheets are auto-genearted reports from the SAP system. They are only "add-on" proofs. Letter from manager clearly states I am "full-time" employed. Also, the pay slips show "number of days worked" in a month - typically 30 or 31.

Would appreciate some comment on the duties, if you could. Thank you again for your time! Appreciate your input.

Iam June 4th applicant and reached my app on June 4th at 12:40 pm and today i enquird HDFC who provided DD and got the news that it is sill not encashed.

Waiting for the good news and see wat happens, God should do favour.

Thanks,
Vasu

If your immediate supervisor signed the detail reference letter that contain your roles that you shared with us, then it is fine to go.

Hi Century, maybe I wasn't clear in my post - the reference letter is not "self attested". It's signed by my manager with whom i've worked for 4+ years, have added his ID tag and visiting card. Also added one affidavit for saying that I don't have a letter from HR since they don't provide it.

I will check with the senior management, although I'm not very hopeful. These days they've become to difficult to work with.

Thanks Optimist! Me and my wife have gone through the documents at least 5 times now, but I'm just being too nervous about it! :D
Need to take a chill-pill, it seems.

Thank you again!

vasumaaney,
There is spreadsheet(link below) that i maintained by the forum admins/seniors on this forum. All the applicants are requested to record their application progress on this spreadsheet. So, based on the entries of some of the folks whose application was unfortunately returned, it could be established that early june applications have been returned(for example, a june 12th applicant on that spreadsheet had his application returned).

???
Guys, my FSW application reached CIC (NOC: 2174) on September 19th..
do u guys think I still have chance of making it? seeing the rate at which the cap is getting filled, I am highly doubting it.. :'( :'( :'( :'(

zj2000,
Yes you can send two applications. there are some folks on the forum who have done that as well - cant recollect a name now, sorry for that.
However, I am not sure if you would have one period of employment covering both the NOCs or you will need to split that period into two periods for each of the NOC.

Hi Seniors,

I have a period of 6 years work experience which could cover two NOCs at the same time, 2173 and 2172. Is it allowed to submit two applications, one for 2173 and another for 2172, to declare 6 years experience for each noc?

Please advise! Thanks in advance!

Hi Seniors

My application received at 9/5/2014. NOC 4011.

Anyone plz help me to release my tension ???

I have send payment form IMM5620(03-2013) , after sending the form i found the new form has been updated . My payment amount is same . My baby is just two and half years , so no chance to cross 19 years limitation. i have paid 1250 CAD for me , my spouse and my little baby . so my payment amount has no problem but when i filled up the form, the form was the previous one , it was a mistake . i am worried. Can any one tell me , do i need to submit updated form or the previous one is ok , my payment amount is correct and my little one does not cross 19 years limit. Plz advice...........Plz ............Plz...........Plz

I have compared both old and new documents and as your child is not over 19 years, i think you should be fine. :)
I too am sailing in similar boat, however in my case it is the old generic application form.... Fingers crossed.... :-\

Yes, it is OK if you can show detail reference letter. So, in two applications, your intended occupations will be two.

And in the reference letter, try to include both the NOCs like below:

Role Playing as 2172:
Role 1
Role 2
:
Role N

Role Playing as 2173:
Role 1
Role 2
:
Role N

Best of luck.

I am hoping you be lucky. And if you also enter in the spread sheet, then you will have more clarity from the visionaries in the forum AND company of forumites to sail together in this endeavor. All the best!

Warning - it's a bit long post, apologies for that in advance. But, can you guys provide me your opinion / advise please? As per my previous post, I'm sending my application today - so a bit in panic attack mode. I saw lot of reasons of rejection as "insufficient details for NOC experience", and hence insecure a bit.

Here's what I'm sending to CIC:
0. A cover letter describing which document refers to what information, so that they don't miss anything.
1. Current Company letterhead experience letter - with job title and employment start date
2. Manager signed letter (plain A4), with his ID card and visiting card
3. My ID card and visiting card
4. Affidavit by me stating I don't have job description on company letterhead due to policy issue and also listing the main duties
5. Joining letter, promotion letter, current annual compensation letter, salary slips
6. Time sheet / service hours summary to highlight 40 hour/week job

Question: Is this sufficient? Or shall I approach the company senior management to provide me a letter on exceptional basis??

And secondly - could someone tell me if these main duties match to NOC 2171 "system security analyst" role (from CIC: "Systems security analysts confer with clients to identify and document requirements, assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware, and develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.").

Main duties:
• Identify client requirements for conducting assessment of their IT infrastructure (software and hardware) and IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and processes
• Develop an integrated IT security assessment framework based upon various regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client requirements
• Conduct thorough assessment of client's IT infrastructure and IT security posture in order to identify implementation gaps
• Document assessment findings and provide detailed reports to client's management team indicating current capabilities, gaps, and suggested improvements for various IT security areas, such as access control, data encryption, physical security controls, security incident management, business continuity management, network security, etc.
• Review Information & Technology risk methodologies, frameworks, and processes implemented by clients, and identify gaps & scope of improvement
• Assist clients in prioritizing the risks based upon various parameters (threats, vulnerabilities, likelihood, impact) and develop risk mitigation strategy based upon industry standard methodologies and specific scenarios
• Design IT risk management strategy for clients based upon their unique risk scenarios and assessment results; Develop implementation roadmaps to deploy selected IT risk management strategy in client environment
• Review clients organizational structure and management environment, and design enterprise-wise or division specific IT Security Policies and Standards in order to control the IT environment and ensure high-level direction and standardization to prevent IT security incidents and breaches
• Develop specific technology standards to safeguard client's IT environment and technologies from internal and external threats; develop operating system hardening standards for securing critical systems from known vulnerabilities
• Develop information security incident management processes and disaster recovery standards/processes to recover organization's IT infrastructure from severe security incidents

Appreciate your inputs and this will be my last question, promise!! :)

Does the letter highlighted above has all the details CIC has asked in a reference letter? If yes, then do not add jobs and duties in your self attested letter.

Dear Seniors

I have a query from the seniors whu have got PER . Was background verification for experience done before PER for dem ?? I knw i have asked dis thing before too bt was bit worried as the person on my reference letter is out of country and not been able to receive calls.

CanOl said:
You should still wait for another 10-12 days. PER is waiting.

Hi Canol,

I am little confused with your statement.
PER will be given after fee deduction from CC right ?
You said "PER is waiting", if you don't mind could you please tell me what you are trying to tell ?

Thanks

Hello friends,

i am totally new on this network. but when i go through it, i found it much more informatics.

i am june 2 applicant.. and as per spreadsheet i come to know that cic already charged CC of that date. I have send DD along with my application form. i called my bank whether DD has been cashed or not and they said no till 22 sep. is it ok for DD or i have got some trouble?

thank you.. :)

newuserhah,
Before commenting, I would want to stress on the point that this is just a guess(or at best some analytics based on how things are rolling) and nothing beyond that. I believe, even CIC would not be in a position right now to put a line to it.

Based on what I have seen, I believe it would be too tough to get into the CAP for 2174 based on this date.
I would suggest you to look at the expected date in SS as well(i havent seen that yet) but that date is from senior folks, so you would want to check that out as well.
