Let me tell you something to ease your tension.

I am working in field in Canada where people have to remit cheque's/draft payable to Receiver General for Canada, but sometimes they are not aware of what name to write when they are addressing payment to Government of Canada so they use below names:

-- Receiver General for Canada
-- The Receiver General for Canada
-- Receiver General of Canada
-- The Receiver General of Canada
-- Receiver General
-- Government of Canada
-- Receiver General Canada
-- The Receiver General Canada

Every name above works. I have got PE with it. So I no need to panic. :)
Thanks. You really helped me calm down... +1

So you're sure this is not a reason for rejection? I can't believe I didn't notice this!!!

But as per SS, NOC 1113 applicant got PER on 22-Aug-2014, still it has not appeared in the latest cap update!!
This is also correct. This means one of the two things

1> Cold NOC are treated differently than hot NOC and most likely not reflected the actual number in the CIC site. Or
2> Since some NOC are closing 1000 mark, CIC moved from PER to correctness checking last week. That's why there is a big bump in the number in their site.

Hi Guys,

The Same DD issue making hard to swallow the food    ??? ??? ???....1 question, how do the ppl who get their DD charged come to know about it...do they receive any SMS or do they personally check with the bank or do they come to know after the CIC emails them..?
U need to contact your bank and query about ur DD when ppl from ur app date become charged. But the bank will also know only after 1 or 2 weeks of ur actual dd encashment date.
cheers ;) ;)

Guys, I think I have a problem.

I sent a copy of my original birth certificate which was in my native language.
The dumb thing I did was, I sent a "Copy" of an affidavit. A friend told me today that I should send the original of the Affidavit not a copy.

My application was received on 9th June under NOC 2174. I've worked very hard (like many others on this forum) to put together everything else, and do not want to lose my place in the line. Is there anything I can do to fix this now? or is it too late??

I did NOT send copies of my 10th or 12th either!!!!!

Just a general thought. If CIC is updating PERs and considering PERs take 3-4 months after the applications reach them, will they keep on allowing applications knowing that they have so many files in the reserve and should stop accepting applications. Is it not their responsibility to let people know on time that people should stop sending files.

Eg: If we take NOC 2174. Assuming that it averages 300 applications per month. PERs should be done by the end of July. But, till now they are still accepting applications. Is this deliberate or a flaw in policy or carelessness?

Hi MaxHeadroom, i agree with namaste here. Please understand, we don't reply to questions for which we don't have a definite answer or a reference point. Its all speculation, just the way you, namaste and AhmedFouad have speculated the possible workings of CIC. Also if all of us, start replying that we don't know the answer, to questions we cant answer, by now this thread would have reached 20,000 pages.... you get my point? :-X

In my opinion, i feel they must be doing a more thorough checks for Skill set level 0 NOC's. So the delay in charging your apps. Also check the 2013 FSW forum / spreadsheet and see if there was a considerable difference is App received date and charge dates for applicants of NOC's starting from 0.

Good Luck and stay positive.... we will definitely try our best to answer any questions, for which we have answers. :)

P.S., next time you want urgent answers to your questions, PM, some of the seniors in this forum and they will try to answer you back asap, even if its like "i don't know the answer" ... relax and hope for the best... :)
Also to add to this, Guys pls make some effort and go through CIC website. Likely that 90% of the queries will be solved by referring to the site. Believe me, CIC website will make you too an expert.
Pls understand, we are humans too and also working for our livelihood. It is humanly not possible to answer each and every question posted here.

But rest assured, we will definitely try to help and answer questions to which we know the answers. but then again, don't go by those answers blindly. Confirm from multiple sources. We may be wrong at times. We are also applicants like you sailing in the same boat.

So guys, all the best to United Canadians

I think there could be another explanation:

Some cic officer that reviewed the file forgot/missed to update the number, or is in vacation and hasn't given his number yet. I believe that happens all the time but is not visible for hot NOCs since a few number missed won't make a difference.

I also think that your second point might be true as well. After all, it's CIC and they aren't always consistent with what they do.

By Affidavit you mean translation? Did you notarize it? If yes, it should be considered original. I am not sure about the translation copy though.
