Dear Experts,

I have made the mistake of sending my application with the old schedule 3 with footer date (08-2013). Please advise if it is safe, it includes the signature box and also ECA checkbox.

PLZ advise as I see a lot of applicant rejected due to old schedule 3? only difference between 08-2013 and 08-2014 is that 08-2014 does not have a checkbox for less than 1 year experience.

Experts plzzz advise.

Even i had filled the same form as your... my consultant advised me to do the same and i have got the PER already so i guess there is no issue u r safe.... cheers

Ans1. NO, you can't show it as POF. It should cash in account balance, MF. FD, PF etc. that's Cash or equivalent to cash (in financial jargons)
Ans2. NO, they are going to check POF for the first time.

PF? are you sure? I dont think thats liquidable and can be showcased as settlement fund.

Friend of mine has following education from Indian University:

1- Bachelors in Computer App ( Part time ) - 3 years but regular.
2- Advanced Diploma in French - 3 years.

How many points he can get for Education on above degree n diploma ?
Also he has Post Graduation through distance learning....Can he get points for distance learning course ???

Quite complex one...I think WES ppl can best answer on it.

No harm, becasue CIC did change form in between 1 May to 31 December, and there is no such big difference

Where are you seeing "a lot of applicant rejected due to old schedule 3".. on this forum, is it?

If that is true, then what else do you need to know from us.. your application will be rejected as well..

If you just said that to build some gravity, then I dont think so .. theres no major difference plus the new form is released recently and I dont think they will reject it just because of that ..

Thanks for your response, I was referring to this post named "fws rejection reasons" if you look at the list
if you will see, a lot of applications seem to be rejected due to old schedule 3. I am just not sure if schedule 3 footer 08-2013 is ok for this year.

Hi Guys

I promised that i will share my silly mistakes I did while sending my application. my CC got charged yesterday.. lets hope for the PER now

1. I am working in Saudi Arabia so I did not write London as a visa office, i wrote Abu Dhabi ( which does not deal the immigration applications)
2. I did not put the bar code page on the top, I found it weired as the application was having page number accordingly
3. My birth certificate and my spouse BC has a spelling error of "E" instead of "I" and "I" instead of "E". even pronounciation is same i did not attach any covering letter to it.
4. I forgot to write the names in native language in one of the forms
5. The main duties column was left blank it was so small to accomodate my JD so I ignored it and I said, I already have my reference letters attached
6. My wife was appearing in IELTS on 7th June but I had to send my application on 28th May, so I wrote a note on simple paper, that I am checking the box that my wife is proficient in english and is going to appear in IELTS on 7th June, attached the receipt of it and promised to send them the result later, which i did not send yet, as I am having enough points and did not have UCI #, so I thought I will send it to the LVO once asked for update of documents.
if i remembered any more, il let u know... the reason i am writing this is that CIC ignores small mistakes.. so nothing to worry about specially the guys who have just sent applications and than realized ooohhhh i miss this and that

i worked with nestle and now in glaxo smith kline...both reputed MNC..they dont provide me JD..I have appointment letter,salary slips,promotion letters,increment letters,Income tax return...

is any one from forum got their CC charged by giving self description jobs and responsibilities...???

No. This is a sure rejection. Get a personal letter from someone who knew your duties.

According to the SS, your application was received on 7th May but ECAS is telling 9th may. Please confirm the date.

Yes century... According to the courier company (purtolator) tracking details my application received on 7th May @9:47 am by Mike... But when I check my ECAS it is showing they received on 9th May. Either the courier company gave me the false info or Does CIC take my application for initial verification on 9th May ... Since i got PER mail I ignored this descrepency. Which one is correct info god knows!!!

I hope cic take a look on these thousands of questions to prepare stronger guide for the next program.
