Don't tell me you dint check latest schedule 3 form.. They have added one column : number of +1s on forum
( which might fetch you another 5 points , for helping nature ;) )

Can someone provide inputs on the below two things

1. Kindly confirm that we will send only copies of the work experience letters??
2. How can we confirm whether DD is encashed if its taken from Thomas Cook?? (Someone who used Thomas Cook DD will be able to answer)

For first one you are correct only copies. For 2nd also you're right [only one who went for thomas cook can answer) :P

Yes. You need a reference letter for any experience for which you wish to claim points.

Yes there should be no issues as when file received your IELTS is valid. But don't know if they take validity when they open your file.!

Hi guys.

My application reached on May 22nd. And my DD has not been charged yet (according to my bank).
I made the DD in Rupees instead of dollars, but I attached that day's exchange rates with my application. Do you think it can be a problem if draft is not in dollars??
 
And one more thing is there any difference between work reference letters and work experience letters....r they both needed or work experience will do

Here goes your answer. Just some wild calculations and guesses though.

As per spreadsheet 69 members out of 262 for NOC 2171 have been charged fees or in further advanced stages.

CIC site mentions 191 nos. to date. (again around 33% representation on this forum which is more or less in line with our estimates)

There are 172 members ahead of you as per SS who have submitted their applications before 3rd Sept 2014. Extrapolating, as per 33% representation for this NOC, we get around 510 candidates ahead of you at this stage.

191+510=701.....
So I guess you are safe as per these rough calculations.
