Hi Seniors,

I am planning to submit my application this week. I have one query regarding proof of funds. I am planning to submit E receipt of Fixed deposit and downloaded PF statement from government site. I just wanted to check if CIC will accept those proof of funds or should I have to make it attested. I have checked with Bank and they said that online copy is valid, but not sure on PF statement.

Please help me on this. Thanks in advance

Does anyone know how to do it? like I have to tell them this goes with the application before and I havent receive my UCI number either.

UCI is given after completion primary evaluation of any application. In your case it is advisable to sne fresh application. But it will also make tense for sending original IELTS certificate, as they issue only one. Request to British council, if they issue another copy by paying some fees. GOOD LUCK.

Hi,
I had the same problem with my payment form. I resubmitted a new and corrected form and it worked. Just write down your full personal information and the date CIC received your application.

Another thing to notice:

Cap Updates by CIC

CIC processed 534 applications in the first week, 470 in the second week, 469 in the third and 403 in the 4th .... Seems like CIC is slowing down ... we could account for a drop in the 4th week in the set above due to one less working day but there is nothing to show that they are picking up pace ..... COme on people. ... get your act together .... !!

If CIC doesnt process 500+ applications in the current week with the full working week (next total Cap update > 3263), then I will seriously lose it ... !!

Dont forget that May is the month of the High number of applications, June, July , August are far less, so probably 500 applications per week will result in more days to study and by having some hot NOC's reaching CAP, it will become more and more faster with checking the rest of CAP's as they will ignore these applications

Please step on carefully, this is one of the most important aspects of application. If you can get it notarized will surve your purpose. They require notarized copies only, not in originals.

My 2cents worth.

1. CIC may rotate staffing based on volumes, so higher staffing at the start, with a little leaner with the inflow reducing. I am guessing they have a target TAT SLA, which maybe in the region of 4 months from recvd to PER. They may be rotating staff around to meet that.
2. The last week should be treated as an aberration and if anything divide the 400 by the only 4 working days. I believe they are stil averaging a 100 a day. That's quite impressive actually. I also see much faster traction once May is over. (I dont believe it is due to higher rejections, if anything based on info available, their rejection rate is lower than 5%. )

I am not saying anything on rejections... my point is that even if CIC are process about 100/day, it will take them another 223 working days to process the rest 22300 applications (if all 25k are received). taking of holidays and weekends, this could relate to CIC punching CC for people toward end of next year as well.... As its just not PER, the whole process for the latter people will go on till 2016... !! If CIC were to go at it at about 800applications/week I would be a lot more comfortable.... 150 odd/day not too much to hhope for ... they gotta increase capacity !

My 18th July application is for a hot NOC1112. I believe i will be in the CAP but wanna get to know that for sure soon ... !!

Generally when birth certificate issued from Hospitals are really issued from Municipality authority (Birth and Death Department) they mention the details of parents, date-time..etc.and keep blank name column. But later we have to get entry of baby's name through Municipality office.

There is a procedure for getting the name endorsed on birth certificate.Most parents have not followed it in the past.

I suppose all passports are in the contry's official language and in English ( which is at least my case). So as it is in English I don't neeed to notarize the copy. Is that right?

Guys..having tough time trying to get an international dd in hyd. Can anyone give advice me any bank in hyd where I can get a dd in cad..I already visited three branches of icici but they say it out of stock..
I don't wanna use a credit card

Please make contact of SBI main branch in your city. They surely will issue international DD. But keep one thing in mind that they will issue DD which will valid up to 3 months. while your application may take more than 90 days days for getting evaluation. No matter, other members will solve your problem whose DD charged after validity date. GOOD LUCK
