One of my friend who applied has a query....she has received e mail from cic dat her application has been received but enqired at the bank where made dd dey said its not cashed yet....hw can it b possible.....please help...sh received mail on 4 sep....but still d bank says dd not cashed....n even wen sh enters UCI number n check status dey say processing not been started....sh is clueless...wat does dat mail means....is it a PER....please help

If you can share the contents of that email, then only anyone would be able to comment.

Otherwise, it could be a general reply form CIC that the file has been received and is in processing. From where did she get the UCI ? This mail or last year file ?

Hi Guys,

14th May Applicant here. Per received on 27th August. NDVO seems to going at a descent speed right now in terms of issuing MR. I had a query regarding PCC. I stayed in city A for 5.5 months, in city B for 2.5 years, and the born and brought up and currently in city C. All the cities in different states of India. Will I have to visit each city for PCC, specially city A where the stay was for 5.5 months only. In the forms, I have mentioned the stay in city A from November 2009 - April 2010 which comes to approx 6 months.(I was there from 1st Nov - 15th April)
Kindly help me out.

CIC has mentioned a specific size on their website; however the number of pages we send doesn't fit very well in that envelope so you can use a slightly bigger envelope for this purpose; I had actually bought a bigger envelope and then cut it re-sized it according to my need.

File returned due to CAP FULL in 2013 with UCI no.

Applied Again; File received on 20th May 2014;;;

Confirmed with my Bank on 6th Sep 2014...but DD wasn't charged!!!
NO PER mail received...

but, today when i tracked my file using UCI no it showing me application In Process...

What does that mean??? I mean without DD charged and PER.............................. ????? ??? ??? ??? ???

Pretty decent estimate as per the current speed of processing by CIC ... but my guess would be a little more positive ... for 26th June, maybe end of September or first week of October.... I'm likely to be proved wrong but I'm hoping CIC will start processing multiple dates due to slower incoming applications/day after May 22nd... Please check the SS for your reference ...

No not all cities.

PCC from one city only, better to get it from the address which you have shown as your permanent address.

ive got my pcc in dubai and it took only 4 days to process, you should go to port rashid station rather than dxb police hq as hq is always busy compare to port rashid.

btw there is no more finger print submission, in my case i just show them my visa on my passport and give them two passport size picture.

Is is possible to take PCC from Dubai ( Even if I have visa of Sharjah) & what is the validity of the PCC issued??

Hi, You should be in the cap. Too early to guess the fee charge date right now - please follow the forum for June and July application encashment, as things should likely speed up by then. Good luck!

The application is reviewed by the VO at your local Visa Office post AOR. Application Review and Background checks are 2 different things.

ALL Applications are reviewed in their entirety by the VO to ensure that the provided documents are valid, genuine and qualifies the candidate for FSW Immigration.

The VO would request updated documents if so required (ex: PCC or Bank Statements) AND would perform Background checks if the VO needs reassurance on certain factors such as current or past employment etc.

It doesn't concern a candidate as to what aspect of one's application could be put for a background check and why. The applicant's job is ensure that the documents provided in the application are true, accurate and supports his/her case.

On my BE certificates, I have mentioned Canada address on the envelope and I authorized a friend to collect my PG transcripts and he mentioned NY address. Will it a problem? Should I change the address on the sealed envelope to Canada WES?
