I have just couriered over my documents. However for form IMM008, I selected my Immigration office as Abu Dhabi.. Is it correct ? or should I have chosen London or something. will CIC correct it for me ??

How did you get your UCI number?? And also am a May 12th Applicant with no response from CIC on my application till date :'( But if your ECAS is activated you should hear from CIC soon.. All the best!!

Some of us have our UCI # because we have received correspondence from cic reur previous application. Our files were returned due to cap reached or other reasons...

Guys

My app recieved date is 22 may Noc: 2173 time : 9:39 and my cc is not charged yet.

for another applicant 22may ,noc : 2713 time : 3:18 pm ..cc is charged .


does that mean my app is not accepted as guys with same noc but at a later time has been charged??????????????

Hi

It has been proven by others posting on this forum that charging is not done in the order of receipt on the same day. Others here can corroborate that this is so. There is a chart on the "Charts" tab of the FSW14 spreadsheet that even shows this: "It's a common misconception that application processing order and processing time depend on time of day the application was received by CIO. It depends on application received DATE, but not on time of day - as illustrated by the chart below. All applications received on the same date seem to be handled in a completely random order, irrespective of their received time."

As long as your application is complete and there are no other issues, it will be charged eventually. You just have to try to relax and wait a while longer. I know how terrible the wait is as I am in the same boat :-[.

Even My pack was returned last year due to Cap limit.. I had got a letter by post along with my returned app stating the "Cap limit" as the reason. but i did not get any UCI number... Any idea??

I just wanted to know that when we land at canada after getting PR and they do check funds from us.

So can some one suggest me what are the ways by which i can show them funds ??
