I submitted credit card information for NOC 1111. My application was received on May 14th by C. Macdonald. I'm getting worried what happened to my application, though I am still hopeful for a positive news. At the same time getting ready for possible re-application.

I am in document preparation phase for NOC-2171 wherein i received educational certificate in sealed envelope. completed IETL above 6. Considering the time WES will take for replying with EAS report and 2171 with 161 count; do you suggest i proceed for payment for WES assessment to stand a chance to make the cut? Pls advice, i intend to courier the sealed envelope, first thing tomorrow.

You can still try. There is still a glimmer of hope.
In the worst case scenario, if the CAPS fill up for 2171, you can apply again next year. WES ECA report is valid for a long time.

I think for DD you can ask the originating bank if the DD has been cashed. Otherwise, you can just wait for the PER to confirm.

FIFO is not purely followed at CIC. So relax and wait for some time. For all you know, you may get the CC charged and receive the PER mail within this week.

u mean to say they are not going to mail of the DD encashment only PER mail

See there are things one can ponder over a little and figure out answers for - that is what one should really care about. How entire CIC runs is not really our business; I am 100% confident that the day most of us get PR, we will be out of this site and not think much about CIC workings. I now know people from FSW 2013 who got their PR in like February 2014 and they are no more here. So why worry about more than what one needs to worry about?

Plus as I usually say, worry about what is under one's circle of influence not about something that is entirely outside one's circle of control - habit 1 of highly effective people as per Dr. Covey. Just my thought on this subject!

I think it is pretty clear why .... he got the confidence he wanted and now he's off ... .we'll grill him on the bet once he's back .....

on another CIC note ... howcome past couple of days CIC Charging is non-existent?? what do you think they'd be keeping as a deadline for them to get done with these 25000 applications ....Processing 2300 applications in 90 working days is just 25/day ....they cant take 1000 working days to finish this ... what say 4 years to do 25000.... something's gotta be wrong or they have to really pick up pace ....

CIC really need to pick up the pace, maybe all the forum members can send each member of CIO Sydney a personal cheque to help with any overtime lol
