I am 15th May applicant. I can see that my ecas status updated to "In Process" but still haven't received any PER mail. what does "In Process" means? If I go to detail of the process definition, there I saw two type of applicants. I have sent application through courier to Sydney NS. Am I applicant

Do we get some intimation at our residence address too or is only email channel used by CIC.

Also do we receive our original IELTS back

Once you provide your email address CIC will contact you on that channel and if not your residentil address will suffice...you won't get the original of IELTS back that's why CIC advised you make photocopies..goodluck bro

As per the current updates in SS, May 21st applications are getting CC/DD charged... So yours could be anytime in the coming 2 weeks and PER a week after that.... Here's hoping .. Good Luck!!

We had same opinion and hired a consultant. As mentioned in my earlier post, he asked us to write Visa office as "Sydney", instead of New Delhi. We are afraid, our application would be rejected. We should have done our research before submitting the form and I landed on this forum after posting our documents. I think, either we do or consultants, we need to be extra careful. We trusted him and literally ran behind our universities for forms. More than money, I worry about losing time we are planning to apply again, this time with me, being primary applicant. With EOI, we do not know if it actually going to easier or more difficult to land in Canada..

I have sent my file last week. Want to share my experience. I hired a consultant and dropped them in the middle, didnt really care to use their services, even after paying money. Some of the statements they make are complete non-sense and are totally against what CIC has mentioned as guidelines. On the contrary, they claim that CIC is wrong and they have cases from the past to prove the same. Although, I admit that there could be exceptions, but one would never want to take a chance and deliberately disobey the guidelines, put their application at risk.

Not looking down on some one, but, the guys these consultants hire are so low in intelligence and commonsense, please don't jeopardize your application by relying on them. You are intelligent enough, add a bit more of hard work and prudence, I guess you would be fine.

Name these consultants, so that others don't get into sane troubles.

You should have you CC/DD charged by this weekend. Keep a eye on your bank transactions. 21st thy did not have many applications. With the speed with went last week, 2moro should be your day, however give time till Friday.
