Its a request to all members not to post questions before reading all the url in the my signature. If you read thoroughly each of the urls below, 90% of your questions will be resolved.

lets not overload the task of people who are helping here.

anyone here who got a PR? did the VO asked for your detailed bank statement for the past 6 months?

i sent my application yesterday(May7) through LBC courier and will reach NS on the 13th of May. do you think i still have a chance?

Better suggestion would be to compile commonly asked questions and publish it
Guys who have dispatched their file can help on this.
CIC guide does not answer all questions.

I agree, CIC guide does not answer all questions but the guide is quite exhaustive and if one reads it thoroughly then he/she can fill the forms . Rest questions they can ask here . as far as I know islandbabe who is thread opener for last year had a blog which answers lot of questions.
 
I have attached my wife's birth certificate as Affidavit...and write in justification that Birth certificate has been lost.

Just want to check do i need to attach FIR copy also..

No, do you also have her secondary school certificate mentioned father's/mother's name! If yes then send that too along with Affidavit.
Actually the affidavit is not even required if you have secondary school certificate.

Guys,

I have given the bank statement which shows i have sufficient fund with respect to 2 people i.e ~15000CAD
Can i use it for sometime and refurbish it once my file is processed
