Seniors please advise
I was having a BC but it was without my name.i have a 10th certificate which has my name and date of birth (no parent/parents name).i have a 12th pass certificate which has my name and parents name( no date of birth)
So while applying I have enclosed 10th and 12th certificate copies and one affidavit from parents for my birth details and one affidavit from my side regarding my date of birth and details given on 10th and 12th certificates.
Please suggest if this will be acceptable to CIC.

My query is, I have done BSc in Biochemistry & working in a pharmaceutical company as a marketing coordinator for the
last 4.5 years.

Will I be eligible to get the positive response as my education is in science stream...??

Hi,

I am an engineer by education but have applied in 1123 as i have been in marketing since last 3-4 years.

As long as you take ECA equivalence from an agency which says that your degree is equivalent to a 3/4 year degree in canada, you should be fine.
They are looking for people who have experience in the NOC. Well this is my opinion.

Hi Guys,

I am planning to re-apply under NOC-2171. Although I sent my application in May, it got returned because of IELTS expiry.

If anyone who has already got PER (NOC-2171) is willing to share his/her roles and responsibilities with me (via PM), it would be great. I am planning to tweak few points to fit 2171 better.

PS - I assure you that none of the points would be copied. Just need your letter as a reference point.

Well i hope you get CIC email response soon to clarify the exact situation, as for me, 16th May charging began only late in the day on 25th Last week so hardly a week gone by. I have apprehensions like you and one of the forumite encouraged me that if my application were to be returned, i should have received it by now and told me to stay positive.


i will probably wait for couple of weeks before sending an inquiry email, i hope we both get the good news soon.

1. Will i get a reason why it rejected?
2. How are they going to let me know about this? Email or phone call?
3. Are there chances that i never get an update about my application?

2. Mostly they return packages. Occasionally they send NER( Negative eligibility review) e-mail.

2. If your application has reached CIO office ,chances of not getting an update is close to none.
