The quality of the answers one normally receives is tied to how good the question one asks. I noticed two other nice folks gave you answers but since your question itself was dumb, the answers couldn't be of much help, though I must say neither of those guys are at fault here.

What you should be instead asking is, if I were to re-apply through my wife what would be the right time to do that for NOC 1123. That way better suggestions would have come up like for example have her apply only once your application has been checked for Fee Charge / PER. Since your NOC is as cold as Canada, it sure won't fill until January or even after. So either your application will go through by then or you would know the shortcomings from the returned application, to be able to correct that and quickly apply right away.

There is entirely no point in re-applying (through wife) if:
1- First application itself is 100% fine (for an NOC that is as cold as yours), or
2- One is not even aware of the shortcoming of the application sent and then makes the same mistake twice

If a guy can think like this most likely he is not going to be flipping burgers in Canada, my friend! Else, Canada will chew you and spit you out before you know LOL ;D

PS - I am only concerned because I feel your hard earned money shouldn't go down the drain - and I am just hoping it is hard earned mate!

First of all, many thanks Oscar for highlighting that the question could have been rephrased in so many different ways. While I don't see the phrasing of the question being such a problem because I got the replies anyway (with yours being the longest of them all!!!), I do notice that it deeply concerned you.

I believe people help and support each other on this forum. But now that I am warned about the criticism and cynicism, I will be more careful in future.
And I do thank you for the advice despite that.

And about your comment about how Canada will perhaps treat people, I can tell you with my experience from travelling the world that A holes get treated like A holes, irrespective of where they are! And trust me you should start worrying right about now.
And btw the travel, that I have done with my 'really hard earned money'!!!!! (since that was also a point of concern)

Hi Arun,

If your friend lives in Dubai, then it is simple.. He just have to walk to any police station with original and copy of emirates ID, copy of passport and visa page, two passport size photos and 210 dirhams. Then he can collect the PCC after 2 days. In fact he will receive an SMS when it is ready. Also, they will ask why he needs the PCC, he just has to tell them that he needs for Canadian Immigration.

Right now May 21st apps are being charged.. if the rate at which the apps are processed is at the same speed since last 2 weeks, Jun 4th will be processed in the next 2 weeks, and your Per should arrive a week after the processing... Just guessing here, based on the trend.... Good Luck!

If you take loan from financial institution, they can probably provide you payment installment schedule/EMI statement. Add a cover letter/additional sheet with this form telling that you will gonna pay those from your salary. The following details you can provide:

2. Can I consider the value of electrical/electronic items in the asset section? : There is no guideline on this. So, you can add those.

Thanks Century . The loan has been used for house maintenance/personal expenses and buying some electronic items . I have been paying the loan with my salary every month ,I did not borrow any money for settlement funds.

Wouldn't that be considered as a misrepresentation/hiding facts., especially when there is a Liability section row to be filled?

Just an update here.

I am now able to see my status on CIC online.

It says: ‘In Progress'.
Application was received May 13th 2014.
PER received via email on August 26th 2014.

I added my entry to the 2014 fsw Sheet

1. VO could termed it as misrepresentation for not declaring it in the form;
2. Also the suspicion of VO could get multiplied for this omission and could trigger other investigations/interview which may not be carried out if disclosed at the beginning.

For other cases, only declaring in the form is enough. But for ggulati's case, his net assets is lower than his settlement fund- so I am suggesting to include payment plan so that at later stage at VO, time is not spent on providing further detail.

Okay, on that note do all people declare the assets and liability completely - I know a whole lot that don't. Many just pay attention to settlement funds (not so much to the other two). Let's leave them for now.

Have you declared all assets in the entirety? And same for liabilities?

My answer is yes. I don't know implications/checks your VO would perform on this regard. But i strongly feel if you have liabilities, its best to declare it.

Write study n job both...there is no restriction in mentioning many activities together
