When was your CC charged??

Yes that is misleading info... just concentrate on the number of apps.. which is 382 till now...

Hi Guys,

This is Avijith from Bangladesh. I am quite new to this forum. My NOC category is 1112 and application received date was May 05, 2014 @ 10 AM. However, I am quite anxious regarding the status of my application. Can anyone plz tell me the probable date of obtaining the PER, if my application is accepted?

And, another confusion regarding the no of the application received shown by Canadian official website as it is showing 382 applications (NOC-1112) as of May 4, 214. Does it seem misleading?

Thanks,

Avijith

Yes, you are right. We can only guess and make a strongest probable scenario. Anyways, I was curious as my CC has been charged and still waiting to receive the PER. Hope that I do not join the rare category of CC charge and file returned :-X

Be positive bro and best of luck for ur per ;)

PR application + Student Visa

hi seniors

I have few questions related to dual intent of student visa + PR application

1.) Received an admission letter from a university in Canada(Quebec, Montreal) for post graduation in Engineering (computer science). Supposed to join the college by January 5th 2015.
2.) Planning to courier the PR application (NOC 2174) by first week of September 2014 to CIC.
3.) Will be applying for a student visa in the following months before December 2014 and all dependent visa (spouse and two children)
4.) If study visa is approved, most likely will join the college by January 2015.

Please let me know whether I am eligible to apply for PR, while i have student visa.
I believe at present I am eligible, because I don't have any visa now.

But after I apply to CIC, most likely the verification process on my PR application will happen after Dec 2014 or Jan 2015. I would like to whether CIC will reject my PR on grounds that I have a student visa in my passport or I might have already landed in Canada with student visa.

I did checked the http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/intent.asp website, but somehow unclear about my case.

Early May applicants (from 2-5 May) from NDVO do u find any update about processing started in ur Ecas status??

Guys, can someone please reply. as i am Indian citizen and staying in Singapore on Employment pass(work permit), what should i specify in Status column in Generic Application form (Field 10), we need to specify Foreign National or something else?

Also, the passport size photo that we get clicked in India, is that same as what we need to submit for FSW application or thats different?

Okay here is the process for your understanding

1. file reaches CIO

2. File is checked for completeness (i.e. all the forms are there and are properly filled in or not \ all relevant docs are there in the package or not) - if the file is not complete it is sent back so no charges occur

3. If file is complete the file is forwarded to charging dept who charge the CC and DD

4. after the charge the Case Officer checks all the docs and forms and checks the experience letters etc...and matches them with the NOC applied - if the officer is not satisfied the file is returned back...please note the CC/DD was already charged...

5. If everything goes fine the Applicant receives PER email...and file is transferred to your local visa office.

Hope this clarifies...!!!

Dear Isuman,

Appreciate your reply.

But if what you are saying is true, then how come many applications are returned (without CC Charge) with a reason that job duties are not matching ?

Regards

Not sure about this
Also, the passport size photo that we get clicked in India, is that same as what we need to submit for FSW application or thats different? The size is different you should ask for Visa photograph with white background and the size of the photo is mentioned on the form that you are filling

Dear Harka,

Thanks for a detailed reply.

It means that in step no. 2 , there is no check on job duties match with NOC ?

Regards

yes you are right...they just check that you have included the job duties letter or not...

Seniors. Is there for anything else apart from immigration that u require a job responsibility letter? I cant tell my company that i am applying for immigration.
jst tell them that my "in-laws" want it to understand my job in detail....lol...... :P :P :P :P :P
try to get by saying that u r luking job at sume other place...they want it!!.....or u r applying for govt job, they want it...but still i think ur problem would be still there.....consider that if u manage to get letter and after ur approval form CIC, when ur Visa Officer wl call ur employer, at that time ur employer may say that he did not know the person u r talking about!!....then wat wl u do??.....i think its better to disclose all ur disbelief's to ur employer and then take decision...gud luck though...
