I had one sugesstion regarding the spreadsheet,

can we add a column for indicating the name ( or just initials) of person sending the PER email. I believe the initials are mentioned on the PER Email.

this would help us to estimate # of resources that are working on FSW, and we can identify if CIC has increased the staffing.

This wil especially help the ones in the long waiting queue by providing more insight on the workforce @ CIC

Somebody has posted in the forum that now you can obtain your PCC from delhi police website itself..

We can get the PCC from passport seva kendra.
They charge around 500Rs.

Hi, I'm not sure what to write in my Economics classes form.

In work experience:
12a. identify the primary occupation corresponding to noc code. It asks me to choose 1 occupation from my list in 12b
12b. list all positions I've held --> however 3 positions here is equivalent to the noc code. if i choose only 1, each is at least 2 years each. What shall i write in 12a?

12-a shows ur main eligible NOC for which u r claiming points...

trust ya' all are doing great. I am a 12th May Applicant, NOC 0711. My CC was charged 28th of July. I sent a mail to CIO yesterday and they replied quoting my year UCI

''Application currently awaiting processing. you will be contacted in due course''

Anyone has an idea what this depict? I am quite optimistic of a positive outcome but will like to know if anyone got a similar mail and got PER afterwards

Hello guys,

For all those applying under the Super Hot NOCs, I want to share with you my theory on the CAPS.

Firstly, it says on their site that the number is an estimated figure of complete applications, not processed. Here's what I THINK happens:

It even shows the steps they take once they receive our applications. They first check for completeness.

So the CAP has nothing to do with PER.

I believe as of August 8 the number of complete applications is what you see on their site. A different group check for completeness in terms of the checklist you submitted and then pass it onto another group that reviews your eligibility.

I would say not to panic. But I am not one to speak cuz I'm freaking out day and night...haha

All 2014 NDVO applicants, did anyone raise CSE with NDVO to know whats going on with our applications? I got my PER on 3rd June and still no communication from them.

Don't worry much funds at this stage. The following will not affect and you don't need to think providing any explanation about it. What matter to CIC & later to VO that you have sufficient funds to settle in Canada. Later on VO will most probably ask the same information regarding funds & you have to provide the information at the time it is requested. No need to provide any changes between the time of application & second time request.

but as neel mentioned do I have to provide any justification/proof later to VO office why I did that change. What if I have actually not converted dollars but had some extra money and I added that in my local currency account later on?

Yes you can even get from local police station. I got mine from local police station only.

It took around month to get it. First you need to fill form in police station and then you will be called to submit your docs. Then they will take few more days and then you can take your PCC.

It depends on the address. If you are staying at the address which was mentioned in the passport then it will not be any issue. In my case i have obtain my passport just before the 7 months of PCC applied and i also mentioned the same address in PCC application. I got the PCC on the same day. While if your address is change then again polica varification is required. And the process is same like issue of new passport.
