Few things noteworthy about my app -

1. I sent additional documents which were received by Mike on May 24th. I forgot to fill my name in native language in my original app.

2. I used Employee Provident Fund as POF

3. I got a reference letter from my manager on the company letter head.

4. For the reference letter of my previous company I had used the NOC description from 2173 and 2174 merged the ones which are applicable to me and used the sentences as is. No change.

My PCC was issued 4 months ago. Although the guidelines say that it should not be older than 3 months, is there any harm in sending it along with my application? I am ready to submit it again, if required, in future.

The CIC has just updated the count of FSWP and it suddenly rises to 1421.... I guess now they are properly updating their records on website... as its not possible to process to 534 application in a week .. or they might have more workforce now :S

I got the report of WES and it stated the GPA as 2.97, and 4 yrs Canadian equivalency. so how much GPA is required for FSW.

GPA doesn't matter, you will get points for your Canadian equivalency.

I am sure now that 2174 and 1112 will reach the 1000 cap limit by Mid October.

Want to share good news, i have received PER mail from CIC an hour back. My details are :

Application sent : 5th May 2014
Application received: 9th May 2014
CC Charged : 16th July 2014
PER Received : 18th August 2014
Received by : Mike at 12:39 pm
NOC : 2171

Could anyone let me know what are the next steps ?

Also i'am unable to update the SS, can admin do it on my behalf ??

Guys, I'm a May 9th applicant, still waiting for my PER. Although I have a UCI number from last year's returned application, the system still doesn't give me any info when I try to check the status. Those who have a last year UCI and got per, how much in advance were you able to see the status "in process" online? Is there anyone whose status appeared only after they got PER?

[size=9pt] 1,000 will reach for hot NOCs while whenever 25,000 reaches in total whether 50, 5, 500, 700 or 0 is filled for a given non-hot NOC FSW 2014 will close. So a maximum of 1,000 per NOC is allowed but not all will fill 1000 together, right?

Looking at the incoming application rate my guess is even a total of 25,000 will never fill by April 30th 2015, they chose a big target which is not going to meet.

Or they have to increase upper limit of hot nocs


How about 5000 for 2174
