Hi experts,

I have completed all my education from India. I am filling the WES application on their site and I have a doubt relating to "My education" tab. I have a "Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) -Computer Engineering" and have passed out the same in 2010. Before that I did my 10+2. I have added my bachelor's education in "Education Credential 1". My query is, do I add my 10+2 education details(i.e. "Secondary Education") in the "Educational Credential 2" section ? Pls note, that I am not including the documents for 10+2 while I submit them, as WES has mentioned that "If you have completed one or more years of post-secondary study, you do not need to submit any secondary school documents with your application.". But I don't know about whether or not to include 10+2 details in education credentials.

Requesting your expert help on the same as soon as possible.

You don't need to. Just get your Bachelor (highest) degree assessed.

If any of my documents are in Urdu (Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate) and I get them translated in English, do I need to get an affidavit for each translated document or get it notarized? If affidavit is required, Can I get a combined one affidavit for all documents translated or a separate one for each document?

I might be wrong, but I feel separate affidavit would be required for each document in Urdu.

All the best !!

There is a technique called 'fold the paper'. Use that. ;)

Demo here..

Oh!! That technique!! haha!!
There were 2 problems: the size (on the Y axis) and the quantity of papers (on the Z axis), so even I fold them, them won't enter... Beleive me

Thanks a ton nskatcv!!! this was much needed..!!

Just another query...

I haven't yet applied to WES for ECA by paying the fees online and hence donot have a "WES Ref #" as of yet. But the "Academic Records Request Form" asks for the same (although they state "if applicable"). Also, I am planning to go tomorrow to the university for submitting my transcripts for attestation and am gonna ask the university to seal this form alongwith the transcripts tomorrow . I will do the WES application after that. My exact query is:

Is it allowed to first submit the transcripts to the university for attestation first and then submit the application in WES and thus keep the "WES ref #" field blank in the "Academic Records Request Form"?

Thanks in advance once again!!

Just want to confirm with others about the points I secure for Language.

I have just received my IELTS report, it says:
L- 7.5
R- 8.5
W-7
S- 7

Overall 7.5

I believe I can claim 23 points for language based on the above score, correct ?

CORRECT !!

It is alright only if :

- You are getting the transcripts from the university and sending the packet to WES yourself, AND
- You put the reference no. later on the overall envelope.

Otherwise WES will have a hard time correlating your received documents (directly from university) and your application (paid online). Not that they can't do it by your last name or so, but do things that you can, to make things efficient.

It's allowed. But be sure to write all the REF # in all the envelopes. This is important to avoid confusion by WES.

But I suggest you pay first so you already have a REF #. Why delay?

I agree !! It is fine to send the "Academic request form" without ref no as long as the sealed envelope you are sending to WES bears the WES ref no.
