- Yes you can send another application with the new NOC code and explanation on a cover letter about why are you sending it. You can mention that you applied with a wrong NOC code and give all your details.

- yes ok to prepare and send file right now don't wait.

Rest for duties you will have to wait till a guy from NOC-2281 can check your responsibilities..

Hi Everyone,

I am preparing my second application under 2281 NOC as I already sent an application under 2171 noc (which now I think it's wrong Noc according to my job profile) and my application reached there on 23rd June. This time I don't want to take any risk. I am quite worried about my second application because the job experience is same which I used in 2171 NOC, and now I am only changing previous NOC to 2281 NOC. The questions which are rolling in my mind are:

Is it ok to send another application under new NOC code with same work experience?

Is it ok to send new application without waiting for their reply/NER email?

What should I do to keep me and my family safe for this 2014 fsw program (wait or send ??)




Are these above job duties are perfect match of 2281 NOC ?

Or do I need to add or change something in it ?

Please help me friends, your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Also, please give some comment/suggestions on my day to day job duties which are listed below:

1. Installed and supported applications on Windows, Fedora/Debian Linux servers.

2. Managed Windows network, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SQL, Fedora/Debian Linux, File sharing, Group policies, Print sharing and their interfaces for the systems.

3. Maintenance of the systems including latest antivirus updating involved in asset-tracking PC and security standards throughout the company.

4. Installation, configuration and administration on high end CISCO routers and switches.

5. Installation, configuration and administration of VPN's and Lease lines.

6. Installation of security patches and bug fixes.

7. Systems health checks for all security devices.

8. Having vast knowledge of spyware, content filtering, spam guard, POP blocker.

9. Handling of major security incidents and identifying the root causes.

10. Configuring Routing Protocols, ACL, NAT ( static and dynamic), PAT.

11. Maintaining and administering LAN network and it's interconnection with WAN.

Are these above job duties are perfect match of 2281 NOC ?

Or do I need to add or change something in it ?

As a same NOC applicant i think no. 8 is not a job you performed. You can change it to performed job rather having knowledge.
Senior forum members can help you more.

pls help me me facing same issue my file reached cic on 7thaug and in work experience I attached my offer letters,,conformation letter and payu stubs,promotion letter salary slips etc to show my work exp...but my company didn't give me my job duties on demand aswell as dey say its nt in their formart... so I missed out that know by seeing ur above post me got a hope to send them to cic... I got letter of reference on plain paper from my manager operation with is original visiting card of my company..I described my situation and he agress to give me ...pls help me with the email id where we need to apologise for this as well to inform abt courier details. .. pls do let me know if i missed out something aswell...thxss a lot

Copies will be ok, in case visa officer requires in future, they will let you know. Then only originals need to send.

I am mentioning the roles and responsibilities in one of the jobs that I have done. Please help me with the NOC code. Can it be 2281 ?

=> Troubleshooting both Hardware and Os on desktops and laptops.

=> Troubleshooting and installing Wireless LAN (Intel and Broadcom) device and drivers on HP and Compaq Computers.

=> Installing of hardware like LAN cards, hard disks, RAM etc.

=> Installation and trouble shooting skills on all Microsoft Applications and Software's

=> Installing Antivirus Products (Norton Antivirus, McAfee Antivirus, etc)

Thx guys. my documents are ready at last. Applying under 0113. I have 1,5 years experience. But i dont have any certificates or couple years of experience as stated in cic website as employer requirements. I do have business diploma and +1,5 years of experience only. Do you think it will be enough?
