Hello Seniors,

I have couple of questions, please reply:

1. What is the equivalence of BSc (3 yrs Regular) from India in Canada, How many points can we count?

This will give you a rough estimation of your education in reference to canada education equivalency.

2. Do Canada accepts Master degree done through DLP/correspondence or Open university? if yes what is the equivalence of MCA (3 yrs) in Canada?

I had the same experience. I saw that they delayed my delivery date once it reached mumbai. I called their call center and had to set them straight. I threatened them if my package is delayed by 1 min also i will take ur image on social network and would discourage ppl not to use ur pathetic service. Within 1 hr they expedited my shipment , it was supposed to reach on 6th may and currently its in missisaga.
Just call at their customer care and ask them to expedite as you have paid for express delivery

Article students are not included in the definition of "accountant". Duties of an accountant may include
""supervision and training of articling students, other accountants or administrative technicians." It means accountants who train the students are included in the duties of an accountant. However, those who get trained are not included.

In the link you provided, under the list of titles, there is a title CA(Chartered accountant) student..would like to ask one more question...as right now I am a CA student, what do uou think,am I eligible to apply in this category?

She will eventually join me but not when I first land in Canada. I have a kid who is just about 3 and I would rather have them join me when I find a place suitable for all of us?

Why answering a "NO" means that I cannot bring them at all?

You will have to tick Yes for them to accompany you. When you get your PR visa, you as Principal Applicant can land alone in Canada first and your wife & kid can join you later (as long as their visas are valid). IF you tick NO, they will not get visas (I am not even sure if Local Visa Office will process your app or not) and than it'll take ages if you sponsor them later on. For now, you'll have to show 3 persons funds.

UPS. Not sure how much they charge, but last year, they delivered documents in Sydney, NS in under 4 days. FedEx and DHL took 5 - 6 days.

I have some confusion as some ask me about this and that even confused me. the slot is 2-3 years work exp points as 11 4-5 years points are 13 there is no option of 12 points and what about the slot more than 3 but less than 4. like say >3 but <4. How to deal with that

Going by Points for experience more than 1 year to just a day less than 4 years its "11" points right. If the work experience is for 2 years 2 days points alloted would be "11". If the work experience is for 3 years 11 months 28 days.... still "11" points for work experience. For work experience for 4 years 1 day its "13" points. Is this the way to points allotment? I mean no "12 points" option?

By the way, I have another proposition for spreadsheet admins: can we add "Postal service used" as a field in the form?
This will allow to gather good objective statistics on which service is the fastest one for a given country - which will help future applicants to choose.

Hi Guys,

1) Regarding Work Experience
Can I just submit last 2-3 years of experience rather than showing more, since last 10 years experience is asked very clearly in the Checklist. I have over 6 yrs of experience altogether but only last 2.5 is relevant to my NOC code. Can I ignore to give them the entire history.


2) Regarding Birth Certificate
I have come across people discussing Birth Certificates. Why is a Birth Certificate required and is it mandatory? Mine is in Japanese since I was born in Japan and only have photocopies of English translation, will that be ok to submit? They will never ask for originals, will they? And also whats with getting them notarized? Is that required too?

binuky is right. Even mine was stuck at mumbai for 2 days and now going very slow. DHL route is straight India - Germany - US- Ontario - NS
