Hello, friends!

I have a question regarding Fee payment form. I apply with my wife (she is a principal applicant) and our little child (3 months old). So, we fill following rows:

1) x1 Principal applicant (my wife) - 550 CAD;
2) x1 Spouse or common-law partner - 550 CAD;
3) x1 Dependent child under 19, unmarried and not in common-law union - 150 CAD.

It's 1250 CAD in total.

But there are also rows named "Each family member aged 22 or older" and "Each family member under the age of 22 who is unmarried and not in a common-law union". Should I write here something or leave it blank? What these rows are about?

I also have a second question...

I am going to pay by a demand draft. As far as I know, there are two stages of fee encashment - when you apply and when a positive decision is made (permanent residence right fee). Should I also mention second amount in DD? Or I should wait for positive decision and send a second DD?

Thank you in advance!
1.Leave it blank.
2.Leave Permanent residence fee($490x2 for you and spouse)...your local V.O will request it when due.
Cheers.

[size=9pt] If it is not as per their format you won't get points for it. 67 is anyway a borderline case!

May be my question was not clear. I am getting 67 points without this letter. As me tioned under the guide, we were to mention experience under economic form for only jobs we have done that match NOC 2011 0 A or B right?

So my question is, I have done a job between 2007 and 2009 that doesn't fall under any NOC category, but have still sent experience letter for that job but its not in required format. Without counting this job, I am making more than 70 points already.

Please God Bless me.

File received today by CIO, spreadsheet updated.
Thanks all seniors for advises.

I thought validity requirement was 6 months, even if it's 9 month, I think you should be fine because it's valid till end of May and they're unlikely to take more than 6 months to charge your CC. Having said that, it's obviously a good idea to use another CC if you have with longer validity.

I still haven't received my application back, just got a reply to my earlier mail requesting them to update me the status of my application.
In their reply, they have just mentioned that my application was returned as it was deemed incomplete.

According to me, the reasons are following:
1. Birth certificate without my name on it, although i had attached its translation & affidavit from translator
Now to take care of this mistake, i have also attached my 10th class mark-sheet which has my name, mother & father's name & DOB
2. Reference letter with only 20-30% duty matching with NOC description
previously my company had explained my duties very generically causing such low % matching, so now i am getting a reference letter from my senior with 60-70% matching but on plain a4 sheet with his visiting card & supporting docs

Yes i have used new froms, thanks for reminding that.

The letter must have specifically stated that a document / documents were missing - MAKE SURE THAT THOSE MISSING DOCUMENTS ARE INCLUDED.

In my opinion, the best thing to do is read word for word everything that is said on the document checklist form and every form and make sure you have everything that they've asked for. As soon as you see something that has been requested (for example, photocopies of transcripts), check whether you've included them in your application and put a tick next to them.

AND DON'T FORGET 4 OF THE FORMS HAVE BEEN UPDATED. FILL OUT THE LATEST FORMS WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR NEW APPLICATION

Good luck!

Hi All,

As I dont get reference letter from my previous company, I am planning to take letter from my ex-superior on a plain paper. He also had left the company, so he does not have the Business Card with him. What I am planning is to attach his relieving letter copy as well with the application. what you guys say. Should I make a visiting card for him and attach with it?

Thanks
Annie

Your experience letter provided will not be an issue since you will have 67points minimum mark without it.
You went too far by getting the experience letter....you were only supposed to get experience letter for jobs you are claiming points on.
Well set and done,Including it will not affect you as the officer handling your file will not boarder to check once he's sure it doesn't belong to NOC 2011 0 A or B professions.
Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. Isn't credit card expiry 05/2015 means it will expire end of April?

[size=9pt] Sorry deleted my earlier response. It will be about 9 months in May 15 so use it. Not an issue!

It's hardly a problem. Anyone can claim a copy of TRF on basis of immigrating to Canada or UK.
