Here are some queries:

1. Last name of secondary applicant (spouse) differs in passport and educational certificates? what to do?
2. Should the educational certificates of secondary applicant (spouse) be provided along with the main application package?
3. Should all birth certificates be digital? (I am from Bangladesh)

Me and my fiance, both comes under 2173. But my fiance's profile is slightly better than me (high grades in school and college + onsite assignments in US n UK).
we are getting married in december, So i am just confused whether we both should file separately or only one (whose profile is better) should file for PR ? Can i or she change our status in PR profile after 4-5 months during the process from single to married ?? Will they allow us to add a dependant/spouse at later stage ?

Yes you can add the spouse after applying, at the local VO stage.

Either or both of you can apply, it's fine.

Its not justified that you are going to show the borrowed funds as yours.
However, if you done that then I will suggest you not to touch that account till your passports are stamped just to make an impression that it's your funds.

Rest seniors can elaborate more on this.

Relax, CIC will assign the correct VO to your file, Dont worry.

In the past, we have seen the cases where applicant chose the incorrect VO but later corrected by CIC.

Advice to all those who are filling the forms:: Make yourself doubly sure of each and every section you are filling. If not sure, ask at forum. This is the last chance before Express Entry...

I have a question on Proof of funds. Is it compulsory to show the bank acct statement for 6 months? Is it fine to just submit the Balance Certificate and FD certificate?

Account statement is sufficient at the time of application. Your local VO may ask for further information later including several consecutive bank statements.

So my 2 month ordeal has finally ended. I sent my application to CIC today. I hope all goes well. It is Allah alone who knows our fate. In the end few days I had developed a notorious obsessive complusive disorder of rechecking the forms and my worst nightmare came true when i had to re enter a few of the forms. The forum was very helpful: ppl replied instantly though a few never did : :
Anyways people pray for me. I will update the excel sheet when my package is received. And i wish everyone the very best. May we should all have a reunion in Canada someday

What do you mean by borrowed funds?

Settlement funds cannot be borrowed. They must be yours, liquid and unencumbered. If you claim settlement funds and CIC discovers they are borrowed it will lead to rejection.

However, if you have some kind of loan on your statement, it is no problem at all, lots of people have home loans, car loans, etc. You just have to disclose them in the section of Schedule 3 that asks about assets/liabilities/settlement funds. As long as it does not appear that your settlement funds are borrowed it will not negatively impact your application.
