Guys, I am new here.. Trying to apply for FSW in 2014 and in the process of collecting documents now.

Should the copy of documents (such as Work Experience letters, Birth certificate, Passport, Marriage certificate, Pay stubs, Promotion letters etc. ) send with the application package be attested by notary? These documents are in English, and are not translations.

From what I read, these need not be attested. There are some people getting these attested though.

Can anyone confirm that it is not mandatory to have these attested/ notarized?

Thanks

Now, I no longer think - you people turn my thinking into conviction ??? ??? :'( :'( :'( :'(

But it will be really a dream landing if I see Goku or Shah waiting outside the airport waiting with car to take me and my family. On the way, billboards around the city, Solomonwise seeking vote for Prime Minister candidature. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks...I am sure there will be an extension. You guys have come to build one big family here. You probably don't know it but I see a bigger picture beyond the forum.

Remember,2014 intake is about the biggest in the last couple of years in FSWP application....Imagine 20% of 25,000 (a conservative figure) forming an association beyond the forum.....(That should be enough to determine the future Prime Minister of Canada :D :D :D given the bonding and the influence).

I want to encourage you to continue to give your best....It might be a future reference to extra curricula activities which will project your soft skills in Canada (You never can tell).

Good luck you all!

Thanks. Updated. Any idea why nilesh.kamani was rejected? BC issue?

I'm also having the same situation.

Below is the detail:

Applied for NOC 2172, received by CIO on 12th May'14, but till date there is no response from CIO.

DD is not cleared.

Is there any contact e-mail to check & inquire about the whereabouts of my application.

I would suggest you to wait for this week....
Cic is presently working on 12 th may applicants...

...TIME STAMPS OF FORMS.....

1. General Application form's time stamp on CIC website is 06-2014..earlier it was 07-2014. i have 07-2014 form..so which form shall i use ?

2. I have red somewhere that now forms with AUG time stamps are available..which are those ? i have only checked fee payment form..it has the 08-2014 stamp..is there anything else i am missing ?

Just wanted you to know that you should avoid shipping by Fedex at any costs.. 5 days and my package has only made it to Quebec, and has been there for more than 24 hours, so far, obviously for the sake of something related to clearing an international import or so.

Basically, it is no fun. We certainly can make FSWP2014 forum at Canada and can help each other.

Cheers.

Jokes apart........ but SVO n all these slow processors have to pick up speed.......... i think other VO (apart from few) are parallel processing while SVO is going by the sequence.......... thats y its lil behind ....... Good thing is that once they reach 2013 processing it won't take them long to quickly get over.

Total current backlog is less than 90,000 for FSW (based on some graph shared on the forum... don't know which thread so cant comment on authenticity). On the other hand, they have a target of 41,500 (minimum) immigrant's during 2014. 50-60% might have already been achieved and another 2-3,000 may b added from FSW 2014 by super fast VO...... but to meet the targets they have to speed -up the whole process. Net net, they have to finalize 15-20K apps over next 5 months and LVO, SVO, ACRA have to pitch in super fast LVO already have minimal back-log...... they can't miss the minimum target ........... Chris will have to explain it to the parliament, he won't like that. So Inshallah, will be together in Canada within next 15-18 months time.

Which time stamps are you referring to. The ones on the right side of form names on this link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

or the ones in the footer of each individual form.

hi guys,
After receiving PER how long will it take for the file to be transferred to Local visa office. from there how long will it take to receive the visa.

@ Shah, Century, Ashif and other senior members, who have applied long back..

Why is that some people who applied in May this year are already at the verge of getting the PR, whereas you guys have had to wait for so long ? What's the difference ? Your specific Visa office, or something else ?

Regards

PS: Shah, please see thread 3315 for that graph. I posted it.

simple photocopy will do..i have this same condition..my certificate is also in ENGLISH/PUNJABI..all CIC is interested in DATE OF BIRTH..YOUR NAME & PARENTS NAME..make sure these are in english..best of luck mitra !!!! :D

!Aman! said:
i've a query related to my birth certificate. it has all the necessary information in both English and Punjabi, except the Registrar's Stamp which is in Punjabi. do I need to get it translated or simple photocopy would be sufficient?

seniors!! yours thoughts on this...

i am referring to the time stamp at footer of the form. General application form has stamp of 06-2014..but i have downloaded a form having footer stamp 07-2014..so which one to use now ? We cant simply reply on the date which is displayed at the right side of the forms..it is showing the old date but when we open the form..date inside has been changed. you can check also
