My IELTS was due to expire on 25th of May 2014 and my application reached CIC on 9th of May 2014. Then where is the issue. The document checklist states:
Note: Language test results must not be older than two years on date of receipt at CIO.
WTF just happened?
Is there a way I can question CIC ? Sue them for harassment ?
PS - I have rechecked, my IELTS was due to expire on 25th May 2014 only

If 2 years is not counted on Application "Received date" then I might get Rejected as well :'( :'( :'(

Cases from USA are not being asked for PCC, Is this not mandatory for all?
I can see direct Medical request from CIC even if PCC is not sent.

Well Thats ridiculous , they cant do like this .. Its clearly mentioned that IELTS test date will be locked on the date your app received CIC amd if your app received before 25 May , they cant reject it at any cost.

Just shoot an email to CIC - Immediately file an appeal , they have to accept your app.. How can they do such a silly thing with anyone ( , m so sad for your dear ,, Tuff luck...

one question though... PERs order will follow app received date or money charged date? ... as many got there money deducted later even though their app was received before.

Please I want to know if there will be any issue with a referral letter that has the web site,email,phone contacts signed with designation but NO STAMP Requested for it but the firm say they do not use stamp or use stamp on that kind of letter head that was used for that refferal ! Please help me !

Do i register in CIC website and then send the package to them ?

[size=9pt] Where are you located at (city)? It is indeed frightening that banks are misleading customers, again and again. I just called the bank forex department guy and he confirmed they issue a 6 months validity international DD for Canadian dollars. And I knew they did from before, just called again since a few folks have been raising this so wanted to check if there is any change in the last 2 months. Apparently not!!!

Either one is not asking the right person in the bank or going to a wrong branch itself in the first place. I suggest going to a bigger branch in the city where they do forex (especially where they give these international DDs). There are quite a few branches of HDFC and ICICI around where I live and most don't deal in international DDs, but one has to go to a main city branch to get this done.

Ok this is strange because mine date was 7th May. IELTS expires on 30 June and my CARD was charged on 13th June. I haven't received PER though but ECAS says inprocess. Doesn't make sense why they would reject yours. Send a complaint.
