cjg1987 is quite right, self attested references are not acceptable. You must have read wrong that it worked for others, it only leads to returned application. I find it hard to believe that none of your supervisors or senior colleagues is willing to assist you with the reference, even on plain paper. Surely you must have good work relationships with some of them? I advise that you try again as without it, your application is dead in the water. All the best.

Unfortunate, but the truth is that there is no one who is willing to assist me on this point in my previous organisation, for the one before that I dont have any one to assist me since all my colleagues have either left or the once which are left are/were not my supervisors, rather they all are at junior levels which is making me more difficult to get this done.

I dont know how rite that will be, but I have arranged for some letter heads of my previous organisation, I can type out the reference letter myself and put one of my colleagues name/number on it. But i dont know what will happen if they call them for a reference check. I am not writing anything wrong or fake but just that bcos the company policy doesent allow me to get anything on a letterhead it is becoming a problem.

What are you telling about plain paper...will the reference letter on a plain paper work? if so then what all additional document would be required along with it

To which date (of cc charging) CIC has sent PER mails...?

I am 7 may applicant and cc charged on 23 June..till then...waiting waiting.....

Bro mine was charged on 13th.. And just got PER Mail now.

i sent the application via DHL and on 28th July it was delivered but i don't shows the name of the person who received it.

instead is shows --- Delivered - Signed for by (no name mentioned)

no proof of delivery signature is coming.

is anything to WORRY .... Seniors ....??

No reason to worry. DHL used Loomis Express, a local courier service for the final leg of delivery to Nova Scotia. So this why they only provide date and time of delivery for the shipment. But one can get the Loomis reference no. from them and find out the name of person who received it from Loomis website.

How would I know if the decision is in my favor or not ?

Congrats. If CIC hasn't requested any more info. from you within specific time frame then indirectly it means decision is made in your favor. You will get PPR soon. Good Luck.

Cic is working on 12 th may applications... So you should wait for your turn...be regular in forum..you will hear good news soon...have patience for 1 month...
