Does any one knows the expected processing time for Amman -Jordan Visa Office? Under, CIC site; no information available for this VO !!!!.

Jamal

Hi Jamal,
Actually, no one could answer this question accurately since Amman Visa office seems not to be working at all. I have come across many cases in this forum for applicants whose files were transferred from Amman VO to Bucharest VO whether they were FSW 2013 or Quebec applicants, and as per my understanding, this was due to the lack of professionals or specialized officers in this ominous VO! A problem that followed the closure of Damascus VO, which was the main visa ofiice for middle eastern immigrants.

Some say preferably black ink, but blue ink is fine too.
Name(s) in hindi at those two places is what is asked, so good.
Light is alright, happens with signature all the time.
Check package thoroughly for any errors etc. and have a couple of good (independent) checkers go through it as well. And then send it. Best wishes! Smiley

Why should "from" be used?
CIC website clearly states in the footnote "as of 4th May" . It means till 4th may .
Or am i missing something

No. It says May 4th 2013. That was the day the 2013 cap opened. It hasn't been corrected. And even then it was wrong. It should say "since" not "as of."

It is widely accepted after careful analysis by forum members that the cap page represents the number of PERs issued as of the time the page was updated. Because PERs come anywhere from 8-12 weeks after applications are received, the cap page is always behind. It is a good guess that the current numbers include some May 7th applicants, but certainly not all.

We have applied for fsw program this time with myself as primary and spouse.

We are applying from India and maintain exact 8 lakhs for this purpose in account.

Canadian dollar value is changing and now I see that the amount 14,720 ( for 2 people) cad equates more than 8 lakhs as the rate is 55.55 ₹.

so will dat lead to rejection..Please advise. ?

I dont think so..you will have to share the proof of funds again when they ask for it....so you will have sometime to do that...you can keep few bucks extra just to be on the safer side.....You can still check with experts here....

whoever in Cic should stop this joke!

my application was received May 12 and up till this moment my ecas status is 'you cannot be identified'. I used a DD hence cannot confirm if payment has been charged.

I am getting frustrated.

do we have to include Form16/ itr
or is it fine as i have included 1st/ last salary slip and joining/releiving letter for older company and current company included joining letter and salary slip.
Pl. seniors suggest.

What should I say... Welcome to the club bro 8)

Without knowing your application received date and visa office, it's hard to estimate when you will get PERs and other items. However by choosing the correct tab in the spreadsheet you can get a rough idea.

Once your visa is issued, you have until one year from the date of your medical (NOT one year from the date of issue of the visa) to land.

After landing, you will need your PR card to re-enter Canada, so you should be prepared to stay until your PR card arrives which should take about 2 months. Or have someone mail it to you overseas.

To maintain PR, you must stay in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years.

just a small enquiry, can u guys update me with current requirement of staying in Canada after PR to be eligible for citizenship? is it three or four years?

Thanks

Hi Oskar

My worry now is whether the overall cap 25000 will get fill???

The overall cap probably won't even fill after the whole year goes by. The hot NOCs will fill up and a number of others will trickle in. I'd be surprised if they even make it to half of the overall cap.

Hi
t
I have a question regarding to photo submission. it said ' each member of your family', does it mean myself, my husband and my child? or do I need to include my parents' and sister's? they do not stay with me nor will they accompany me.

Guys - need your advice
My application was received by cic on July 2nd without pcc which was already requested but taking longer. So application was sent without pcc letter. I got my pcc letter and pcc stamp in passport on Friday . As per the spreadsheet, cc will be charged in November and pcc request will be even later which means the pcc will be stamped for almost 4-5 months
Is there a way to send the pcc now . I have never applied to canada earlier so do not have UCI number .

No. You might have to get a new one, it all depends on how long it takes your local VO to request it.

Appreciate your advise. I agree with you as someone has informed the same. Amman VO application were transferred to Bucharest.

If your other two year experience is in Noc list than six years

No--if it is in any NOC at skill type 0 or skill level A or B then it's 6 years. It doesn't have to be an eligible NOC so long as you meet the minimum requirement of one year in your primary NOC.
