Hi Friends! I am just in line to apply ....just waiting for PCC. Please resolve my queries:
1. I am 1972 born and have no D.O.B certificate. however I got a Not Found certificate from the authorities. Is it a sufficient proof or my HSC certificates are sufficient?
2. I have validated my application once,but now I want to change some info. Can I allowed to do so?
3. I had applied for FSWP in 2006, which was later returned by CIC due to change in law. Do I have to mention the UCI that was allotted to me at that time?
I hope I can get the reply from this well administered Forum.

One BIG Concern for all the applicants who have chosen DD as their mode of payment .

Considering the speed at which CIC is working, it is quiet possible that applicant might be charged after SIX MONTHS .
And 6 months is the maximum duration upto which a DD remains valid (Thats true in India atleast).

I got the DD from HDFC bank in Bangalore ,India .

What will happen in that case. Will CIC contact to the applicant to pay through an alternative mode or something ???? ??? ??

Can we get the validity of the DD extended from the banks, HDFC bank in particular ??? :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Had your other diploma been of 3 year duration as well, you could have gotten 22 points.

Mine took 25 days by normal post. Dispatched on 30.06.2014. Reached me on 26.07.2014.

As the wait was unbearable, i booked a duplicate copy by courier. Dispatched on 11.07.2014. Reached 19.07.2014.

Education credential by WES ... My education assessment is completed by WES . Please inform how many days will it take documents arrive to India via Normal mail .. or incase I opt for express courier ..how many days will it take ?

1. Keep expiry date blank. I also did it.

2. Processing time of Colombo is 12 month VS Singapore 28 month. So, it is better to select Colombo provided that you got visa validity/work permit for one year. You need to provide Proof Of Admission in case you select Colombo.

I have work permit up to 30th September, 2014 and after renewing contract I'll get 1 more year's work permit. Is it ok if I provide my current work visa now and later on the extended visa?

Hii Girishd mine is also from hdfc and i talked to Mumbai office twice they said its only valid for 3 months..your bank told you that its valid for 6 month please tell..

It is not mandatory and got no benefit. However, it is mandatory for translated documents.

[size=9pt] Why to a country in Asia? I like to think they do such petty tasks in their own backyard as it is north America that went through the whole bankruptcy and unemployment phase. More than us they require petty jobs to be able to pay the bill and get food on their table.

Guys, one piece of advice. When you are in Canada never for a moment think that the Canada born / brought-up guy is more worthy than you and he should do the quality / good work whereas you are there to do the small / petty job and / or clean up after him / her. Just my take! Give them a fair completion by all means!

Why to a country in Asia? : By looking at the working hour. Mine at 11:30 am when in North America, it is late night. I remember, another applicant also claim the same time.

And outsource decision is more related to cost and efficiency and not sure related to superiority.

My wife traveled 4 times from India to Maldives on dependent visa, now she is on work permit.
Do I need to mention her travels during she was dependent, or tick did not travel.

There are different perspectives on whether one should list travel between one's country of citizenship and one's country of residence. Whichever you decide to do, mention those travels or not, just be consistent.

In Backgrnd decl, Name of Institution what should I write "my school college name or board name" ... For eg my school name is St. Judes high school , but the Board which gives me that secondary degree is Board of Secondary education, karachi ..

For my wife her school was Govt girls high school sama satta but the exams weee for Board of Intermediate and Secondary education bahawalpur ... So school / college where we studies for the board which takes examination and issues degrees.

thou its not for me ...replying to this post ..just incase u havent been replied yet.. please write the college name place a comma and also write the board's name in brackets. eg; Govt girls high school sama satta, (Board of Intermediate and Secondary education bahawalpur affiliated )
