Hello everyone

Is there any reason why the NOC cap estimates in the spreadsheet are moving so slowly.

I am interested in NOC 1112 and it has barely moved in a month ... subsequently the estimated deadline has moved from ~Aug2014 to Apr2015 now.

I discovered the FSW only in May and after some browsing realized that I was too late to start my application process in June

But now that the applications have slowed down significantly and the estimated deadline now seems to be Apr2015 .... should i start the process ... I think i would be able to put my application together atleast by Dec2014

Senior members/ veterans advise please

Thanks & Regards,
Moriarty

Why did you think you were too late to start in June in the first place ?

And why will it take you almost 6 months to collate the package together ? That seems too far fetched.

I am a 13-May applicant.....what are chances of my CC charging in this coming week. ;) :) :)

Thanks for that quick reply Nishesh.

The reason I thought that I was too late in July was because almost 45% of my NOC was filled up by then and it only included applications sent in the very first week of May2014 ... But since then the movement has been relatively slow

December is sort of conservative estimate .... i think i can get it done earlier than that ... say Oct 2014

What would you say .... should i give it a try ??

Estimated deadline was never August 2014 !

In Generic application form, do we need to enter the Place of Birth, City/Town as given in passport format(ie. Village Dist State) or just the place of birth(ie. Village).

Hi,

I have a question about police clearance. Actually I am now living in Canada and I traveled to a Middle east country (for work purposes) two times: the first one, I traveled 5.5 months and the second one I traveled to the same country for 5 months. Additionally, there were about 10 days between the two travels. Getting a police clearance from Canada is little bit hard, including the communication with the embassy and collecting the required documents.... This process may take at least 4 to 5 months and the cap may be completed. I am asking if my application is complete except this police clearance, is my application will be refused ? or they will contact me to send it back ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I vividly remember it was August2014 for NOC 1112 during late June

Deadlines are not for particular NOC's , it is for the FSW program as a whole!

Place of birth , exactly as written on your Passport

The NOC is a HOT NOC. But still I would have gone-in in June itself.

In all honesty I believe October will be a little too tight but then who knows. You could give it a shot.

Good luck !

If I have understood your query rightly , here is the answer below:

1. Applications can be sent without PCC at this stage, you can provide them later when your VO requests it

2. These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer

Thanks

You can apply without the PCC and provide it later.

I believe you only need PCC if you have lived in a country for a consecutive period of 6 months or more (since the age of 18). Your stay seems to be less than 6 months in each of the 2 visits so I would suggest you first make sure you actually do need to provide PCC for Middle East based on those figures.
