Just Checked My ECAS Status... Its showing "In Process"| "We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014"
But Still a bit nervous, since havn't got PER mail & used DD for payment so could not track whether its encashed or not.

You have only increased the work load of CIC, however I don't think this will be cause of rejection.

I have an idea
I think there are many applicants made minor errors when they filled their applications however, CIO sent PER's to them with no concern to these types of errors hence, they could share these these kinds of error. that will be so helpful for others who recently did same mistakes

I checked with several banks today for DD and all of them are saying that DD is valid for 3 months and anything above 3 months will not be cached
I spoke to 3 or 4 banks but all of them speak about Reserve bank rule. I think that rule is applicable only for internal DDs and international DD should be en cashed even after 3 months

Please help where are you all taking DD in India

When will CIC start sending PER emails for 7th may candidates... its been more than 23 days since CC charge..
Any 7th may got PER email...

Unfortunately no one knows... its all a waiting game. But I suspect it shouldn't be too long now.

My theory is that the 7-9 May period is the most crowded one and CIC I am sure is trying to ensure that these are processed as quickly as possible to avoid a backlog building up.
As we all know once charged applications are very unlikely to be returned, so then CIC can put some focus on PER's afterwards, with less of a burden.

Ull get this status only after dd encashment.same was my case.I confirmed word my bank that dd we sencashed.try DA same.congrats

Check with AXIS bank, HDFC bank. Their DD's are valid for 6 months. I got from Axis.

If one shows only FD but not bank statement will he be asked about source?

They should not.

But they can ask bank certificate on your DD and it's status.

Hi I am new here.

I have some question regarding WES evaluation.

I have sent the required paper for evaluation. They received it on 18 june, 2014.

The document status keys shows as follows.

"Accepted" The document has been accepted.

"Not Received" WES has not received the required document. Please review the document requirements for your country.

"Not Acceptable" The document received is not acceptable because it does not meet WES document requirements. You must resubmit the required document(s) as specified. Please review the document requirements for your country.

"Received Documents Awaiting Verification" The document was received and WES has requested further verification from the issuing institution. WES is waiting for the institution's response. WES reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the documents that it receives.

They also sent a email stating that they have sent documents to my university for verification.
it also showed "awaiting verification" and now shows "Documents received-review in progress"


Do I need to resubmit??? I already know that they made an contact with my university and as far as I know my university has sent the reply (Most probably by email)..

What should I do?? I have sent 3-4 emails to them .. NO answer..

This seems quite normal .. the review is in progress and they should be done soon. Why would you want to resubmit ?

If u want, u can mention ur UCI# otherwise just leave it as empty. Its not an issue. Anyway based on ur date of birth and ur surname, they will take ur UCI#. UCI# cannot be changed even if u re-apply also.

I have mentioned the UCI number in the principal applicant section my question was do i need to mention the same UCI # in dependent section as well?

My UCI number is 8digit 00000000 (Continuous number and i dont find any info with that number on the site)

Congrats !!

Your DD is encashed for sure if it shows in process. Just wait for the PER now I suppose, that is like saying you are 99% through the CIO stage ..

Not really .. it is more like the 2 are more or less running in parallel. I have seen at least one 7 May charged today

I just received an e-mail from my bank and my CC has been Charged!!!
