Hi Asif and Others,
I am 9th may applicant for 2174 with DD as mode of payment. My DD has validity of 3 months which means it will expire on 30th July 14.
Looking at current status, I doubt whether my DD will encash till 30th July,
What is a way out of this? Will CIC ask me to provide new DD if it process my application after 30July or anything else which I can do.

Although it's been almost 1 month since CIC is checking 7th May applicants but it wont take another month to reach 9th May... So dont worry mate... your DD will be charged before that....

For the parts in the document checklist where I am required to submit copies (like passport, settlement fund proofs, etc), do I need to submit certified true copies or just a regular copy without any declaration/affirmation?

Send Copies only. The originals are required for the IELTS, ECA, & PCC. They might ask for originals or certified true copy on later stage as mentioned in the check list.

Me too...Just got my evaluation done yesterday. I stay like 10 mins walk from WES office and they are taking 3-4 days to deliver. You are not alone for sure
