Hi Guys,

I am applying for PCC from FBI and need a suggestion. To be on safe side, is it a good idea to send two fingerprint forms?

Thanks

@Aminow

Any will do, as mentioned by CIC.

However, to be on safer side (actually as per negotiations with (a) HR to include roles and (b) my supervisor to include salary and other stuff), I got it signed by both.

Does the letter has to be signed by HR or is it Ok if it is signed by my Manager?

Either of them is fine but I personally preferred your manager to sign it.
Cheers.

Good that u explained and accepted the "plagiarism" before committing the crime!!!

In any case, you are not supposed to "blindly" copy them, before anything request your HR to REWORD the duties and then add some meat, spices, onion etc etc.

What i did was, i provided the printout (avoid soft copy as it leads to copy/paste) and soft copy of official JD to your supervisor and ask him to provide an honest description of your duties (aligned to the broad outline provided under NOC description). Then he should send it to HR. The best benefit of this exercise is that when i gets call from VO for verification, he will use similar words as written in your experience letter, which will substantially boost VO's confidence.

@shah2014
Thanks for the precious advice, i will surely ask the HR to reword the duties and will definitely add meat, spices, onion, tomatoes in it. :)

@ A_S & FSWDev

Don't worry. The FBI does what it says. If the current processing time is 28 days, it will probably take 28 days for the bureau to get to your file. But they will do issue you a clearance! And also note that it takes a couple of days to weeks for the report to reach you through mail depending on where you're living. So, if I were you I wouldn't worry about it.

BTW, the FBI customer help info also explicitly says to refrain from calling the bureau for six weeks from the date of lodging the application.

So, stay patient and good luck!

while visiting CIC official website for CAP update, i got this pop-up msg

"STOP STALKING, or you will be reported" :-X

What does this mean? 8)

CIC has been stuck on the FSW processing - since 7th May...!!!

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

No clue whats happening. They started quick and fast.. for the first week. But after that, it all seems silent.
May be its because of all the SIN applications from international students since the June 2014 thing.

Fingers crossed...!!!!

As per the responses i got from seniors in this forum.

It does not matter, whose signature it should be HR or Manager, either of them can sign, until it has all the required details like Your name,your employee id, duties matching to the applied NOC, salary info,designation, employment period, Full time employment detail...and most importantly i should be on the official letter head of the company.

I hope it helps you.

I had also applied couple of weeks back and still my CC has not been charged. What I noticed in the website was that initially it was 20 calendar days and now, it is listed as 28 days . I guess lets wait till the end of this week to get our card charged. :o :o

As of yesterday, fbi was working on June 4th applications. the day u see ur CC charged with $18, same or the next day they mail the report. wait for a few more days.. mine reached thr on 9th.

Source: I called fbi customer care yesterday.. a nice lady over the phone gave this info

Good luck!!

Hi FSWDev, could you please let me know how to fill the form for FBI clearance, I mean how can I get the finger prints done on that sheet to be sent to FBI?

Also, if possible can you send me the link for FBI report?

Thanks,
