Hi,

My NOC is 2173 and my application kit will reach Nova Scotia by tomorrow(Hopefully). When I was reviewing the work documents I submitted
I came across 2 mistakes in the documents issued by my current company. I missed these before submitting the documents.

1) In the appointment letter that was issued to me in October – 1999 we have a salary break-up sheet attached. There is a typo in the figures
which could have been printing mistake or so (I was only concerned about the final figure at that point I overlooked this mistake I guess).
2) In the experience letter issued to me by my company(For the purpose of immigration) the current CTC is incorrect. They have printed the previous
CTC while I had a salary hike after my appraisal in April 2014.

Would this adversely affect my application. I am depressed and am wondering how I missed it while reviewing the documents before dispatch.

Could somebody respond?

Thanks

That's fine ... mistakes of this magnitude don't affect your application or don't get rejections ---- at the most the VO would ask for some clarifications and you can ratify the same at an apt time.

Good news, everyone! :)
I think I've finally designed The Ultimate Chart I've been looking for, - it's a pinnacle of FSW statistics visualization ;D
It's now available on the Charts sheet.
On this chart, all applications are sorted by their received date, from left to right, with their statuses shown. May 1 is on the left, and currently May 8 is on the right (you can hover your mouse over the chart in the spreadsheet to see exact app. received dates).

Bar length is proportional to application count (not percents, like on the older chart), so it's easy to see how many applications it's left to process for a given App. Received date, - AND it's also easy to extrapolate trends into the future, because the chart shows application status dynamics (on the vertical axis), not just a static picture for today.

Moreover, all abandoned (inactive) spreadsheet entries are also clearly visible, with no fee encashed for a long time. I suppose, these entries also include some percentage of returned applications, which just didn't get back to applicants yet, and maybe some rare applications which for some reason take significantly longer time to process.

See some additional examples on this screenshot (clickable):

As a bonus, here's another version of this chart. It includes all applications with "At CIO" status, for an overview. You can't find this version in the spreadsheet, but it helps to visualize the huge pile of applications CIC has to process now ::) ;D

I guess 28th April was the last day to accept applications. I wonder when they decided that cap has been filled.

Well anyways, when it comes to NSNP, everyone is clueless. Everyone wonders what and when they do anything :P :P

No offence to anyone but I read a post from someone who got nominated for NSNP.

And his English in the post "Mashaa Allaah"

Feel pitty for NSNP for their selection criteria.... :o :o

Does this mean that he got a rejection mail because he has sent his file on April 28 and NSIO just mentioned it as Cap filled instead of Submission of application is closed. Or,,,, is it really filled? But in other forum, they says they're still working on March 20 applications. In my case, they received it in April 3 and until now i got no response still.

Dear Dancingqueen,
You are right by saying about closed date. Thats what even I said but not sure how he got rejection because of cap reached.
I think he meant to say his application was returned because it reached after close date.

Dont worry!!! As I am aware there are 25 nominated and 125 left. In my understanding they have divided nominations to the dates. Till 18th have got 25 and the pending till 28th April will be reviewed and nominated accordingly.

Well anyways, lets maintain the decorum of this forum which is meant to be discussed for FSW 14. Thanks!!!!!!!
