Last year they changed the forms on 3 may (schedule 3) and 4 May (Generic Form).

As I said they are used to of surprises, so not sure if we all are expecting another one tomorrow.
BTW, they rejected a number of applications due to old forms in 2013.

Mine too was returned because my Schedule 3 was downloaded on 01 May. Sad thing, I received my documents after 6months.

I am finding it tough to get my reference letters from HR of my previous company. One of my ex-colleague is ready to issue the reference letter as per CIC requirement except for company's official seal. Will it serve the purpose?

I applied for FSW 2013 but my application was returned due to cap fill.
BUt, I didnt receive the returned document and the document was lost.

Now my concern is regarding WES document.
WES provided two copies of assessment report and a letter. I submitted one report and a letter during FSW 2013 and it was lost. now, is it sufficient to provide only the next assessment report (and not the letter) to apply for FSW 2014 ? or do I have to re-order assessment from WES ?

WES says that they will include following documents during duplicate order.
An electronic copy of your report viewable by CIC
An educational credential assessment paper report to submit to CIC

You do not even need to include the letter with your original ECA assessment in the first place.....even though there is no penalty for it.
Include the other original ECA assessment result in your application and send your package.
WES would have included 2 of such letters if it were to be needed.
You are good to go so far the ECA assessment is original.

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

Adding to Ashif's point

1. Wife is eligible. You can show in her name. The same I did and I am through. But if your marriage got over recently or if you don't have any kids after few years of marriage it is safe to show your funds in joint account. Else it may cause unnecessary delay in processing as CHC may doubt the genunity in the marriage. Adding your name with your wife account is not that much hard I think. If the bank is not allowing for the same and you falls in any of the two categories I mentioned above I suggest you to send marriage and outing photos also with your application.

In the Schedule 3 form

10 : I have relative in Canada but not living there since last six months. Can I write NO as I do not wish to claim these points. Or will they consider it negative that I have not provided correct information?

12a : I should fill out my exact designation in "Occupation" ? Or select from the ones list in the NOC as designations
12b : Same question as above.
12b : I should use character spaces to make the date (YYYY-MM) fit according to the form, i.e. "2014-05" or "2 0 1 4 05" . Which of the below looks best?

12b : The "Occupation" column does not have much space. Do I abbreviate or write partial designation
12b : Does each designation (prmotion) within a company count as a separate occupation?

10. State the correct information. Please dont misrepresent.

12a. Your exact Position or designation has to be mentioned and the four digit NOC code with which the position match.
12b. I followed the first format you given in the pic out of the 3....
12b. Try to fit the designation fully. Else the visa officer may get confused. If impossible to fit add a covering letter and explain which abbreviation for which designation with the years...
12b. If I were you I mention it as separate occupation. Because when you get promotion your main duties and designation also will change.

Hey everyone...

I applied last year for NOC 2174, BUT my App got returned due to CAP reached, i am applying again this year.
I have a query...
Schedule A 12th point address, its mentioned that we have to provide addresses even if we were tourists.. my query is suppose i was in singapore (tourist)in september 2013 than i came back to malaysia(my current residence) and again in september 2013 i went to thailand (tourist)for 7 days so do i have to fill up like sing address, malaysia address & thailand address???? or i just need to say 2013-09 to 2013-09 sing address and 2013-09 to 2013-09 thailand address??
