I'm confused over barcodes, where could we generate that among available forms? Heard that it has to be placed in the foremost front of our application, true??
Fill out, validate, print, sign and date your application forms.

To make sure you submit all the pages, follow these steps.

IMM 0008 form

Click the “Validate” button at the top or bottom of the form.
Note: Validating the form before printing makes sure that you have answered all the questions. This will help you to avoid delays in processing your application.

A last page with barcodes and a signature line will automatically be created.
Print, sign and date the form.
For best results:
print on white, bond-quality, non-glossy paper and
use a laser printer.
Place the barcode page on top of your package. If you have more than one package, place a separate barcode page on each one.

No you don't have to mention it any where. Just attach it behind appropriate form. Don't forget to mention form name on Annexure.

Note: Last year ECA was introduced.

Thanks

So you mean that this was the main reason why there wasn't the same number of applications as this year?

Thank you

If you can keep same date its better. But putting different dates on forms wont be an issue.

How come validating the form before printing avoid the delays in my applications' processing time? ???

Quote from: Saudi Expat on June 17, 2014, 11:13:11 am
Dears,

I have applied as FSW (application reached 7th MAY 2014, still waiting for CIC response) I have a few questions on points calculations:

1. EXPERIENCE: my experience is more than 10 years , but expereince letter i sent were having only my designation, work duration and salary. Job description is not included. Will it effect?

2. IELTS: overall my IELTS score is 7.5 in all 4 categories, i calculated 6+6+6+5=23 as language points , is it corrent way ?

3. My age now is 35 and I will turn to 36 in coming November , what age score I will get , can I get max. points 12 ?, technically speaking I am in 36th year of age but crossed 35 years (born 1978 NOV ) .. confusing right?

4. My degree is bachelors in engineering (4 years) what score I will get 23 or 22 ?

please reply as i am nervous, tense and stressed.

Warm regards,

Dear Mr Expat,

Besides your experience letter, you also need to qualify for IELTS..
IELTS score has to be 6 and above in all each of four categories. Experts advice.

HighFlyer2014,

hope you have misunderstood the points of CIC with band score of IELTS

6 is the minimum in all sections of IELTS band score - you got it right.

But SaudiExpat got band score of 7.5 in all sections. He has passed the minimum score of 6 in all sections

the corresponding CIC points are 6 6 6 5, which sums to 23, which is 1 point less than the maximum obtainable points of 24 for English test.

Dear friend, I am not against your idea of 'Group is exclusively for Gujjus to help each other.'

Two things :

1) in a smaller group you may miss out on the larger picture and

2) Members here would not receive any info on progress of the exclusive group members

So dont get me wrong ,stick to this group ,post all updates and suggestions here.We all can benefit from each other.

Remember Sum is always larger than the parts. ;) ;) ;) ;) :)

well said.....

Hey, thanks for clearing up. On this forum I read somewhere that one has to score a minimum of 6 in each of the four categories. Since SaudiExpat has scored 5 in one category, he would not be eligible. But if what you saying is correct than cheers to you mate.
