........Filling Application Form.......
Finally i am filling the forms and have following doubts..Please seniors help !

1. Form IMM 0008 E - Q11 - Its about assets and liabilities. i have a home loan which is shared by me and my brother around $15000 and study loan on my name which is around $6000. But i have settlement funds of $13000 and assets of $ 50000. Do i need to mention my liabilities or i can show them NILL. Will these loan amount can affect my application?

1. I have limited knowledge in this topic. Seniors please guide.

2. Form IMM 0008 E - Q9 & Q11 - I am single and in these question it is asked if my accompanying spouse or partner have worked in Canada or not. What should i enter NO or leave i blank ? I am confused.

2. It is very clear that you are single and so the answer to these question must be NO.

3. Form 5669 - Q 7 I am from India and i have completed 3 years Diploma after 10th class and then 3 years degree after diploma. Please check if i have mentioned the correct number of years of education -
Elementary/Primary School - 7 years (1st standard - 7th standard)
High/Secondary School - 3 years (8th standard - 10th standard)
College/University - 6 years (3 years diploma + 3 years degree)

Am i right ?

3. Yes you are right. Best of luck.

Please guide .

I would suggest you send another application. If payment dnt go through they will return your application along with stating the reason. I have not seen/nor heard from anyone confirming that CIC makes moer than 3 attemps to charge credit card.
All the best.

This would be the best advice provided he has a spare copy of the IELTS result or if he can order a TRF asap!

He guys...

As someone already recieved his MR...maybe I could be so bold and ask a question way ahead in the future :)

If anyone has heard about it or had any experience with this...does the Cairo VO send an AOR by email once the file is transferred to them from CIO?

Guys...reposting this if anyone has dealt with the Cairo VO before...sure there are a few Egyptian here ;D ;D

There aren't as many 2281 applications as some others (eg. 2174), so obviously, there will be fewer of CC charges for 2281. Also, depends on the date applications were received. Currently only applications received upto 6th May are getting CC charged. I doubt 2281 is being unfairly ignored.

Is there anyone who applied n 2147 but has applied in 2281 this year sine duties are more or less the same.

Dear brother,

As per below link, Egyptian have to select visa office as Cairo...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/cairo.asp

Although CIC has transferred all the FSW13 files to CPC-Ottawa. And this visa office does not send AOR (instead a direct Medical request).

Lets wait and see what CIC do this time...Since Egypt is a bit more stable political situation compare to earlier yrs....:)

I know what your link says. I think you need to read it more carefully. Category 1 is the same as NOC category. Category 2 is the same as Offer of Arranged Employment category. They are not NOC CATEGORY 1 OR 2. They are just CATEGORY 1 or 2. There is no such thing as NOC CATEGORY 2 since NOC category itself is category 1. So, why would you write NOC category 1 if there is no NOC category 2 or 3? That's besides the point because the samples clearly show what should be written.

namaste said:
I don't know if it hurts and frankly, I don't think it's that big of a deal to warrant a rejection.
I see that you have shifted your position from "the proper way to write is category 1 or category 2" to "it doesn't hurt." why do that when CIC clearly tells us to write "NOC category", or "Arranged Employment category," or "Phd Category" spelled out?

Agreed.

So summery is,

Category 1 is equivalent to NOC category

Category 2 is equivalent to Arranged Employment Category

Category 3 is equivalent to (PhD Category)

So u dont need to show it as "NOC Category 1"

Thanks buddy.

To show another point...

+1!

I have not shifted just making you see reason.

The instructions are crystal clear but interpretation is the issue. All I know is there are categories 1,2 &3

The requirements are different for each of the categories. So,sorting will be necessary as each category has to be treated differently.

Lastpage!

Brother,

CIC will easily categorize once u write "NOC CATEGORY" on the envelope...This one is their instruction not from us!!

So there should not be not worry...:)

Thanks Ashif_eee for your prompt response and the new bit of info....so you're actually saying that last year's applicants who selected Cairo as their VO actually got transferred to Ottawa due to Egypts political situation? Wow not sure if this is a good or bad thing...

Anyway we'll see how it goes this year...and +1 for your constant help mate :)

You can refer my below post for Bangalore PSK as steps are same across all PSKs. Required documents are also mentioned on passportindia website mentioned below:

1.Register at the below website for Passport India.
http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink

2. Login and complete online application for PCC. Payment is optional at this stage and can be done when you physically visit PSK.

3. Take printout of your ARN (Acknowledgement receipt number)

4. Go to PSK Lalbhagh or PSK Sai Arcade, Bellandur with ARN printout and address proof documents between 9-11 AM any following day as PCC service is walk-in before 11 AM I believe. If you passport address is same as current address, you'll possibly receive your PCC in 2 hours. If it isn't as was in my case, they'll collect the fee and verified documents, and send them to your local police station in Bangalore, who'll then call you with documents and photo to verify address and identity and fill their own form with your info. Lastly, they'll send this form with the docs to Commissioner office, who then stamp the same and send to your PSK. In my case the whole scenario including police verification took 5 days.

Required documents you can also serch for on PCC website.

Yes u r right..Brother...

It was not that kind of bad, since CPC-Ottawa was faster on last year (hope this will also remain same)....

So it will be advantageous if u ppl's file is transferred to CPC-O ....:D

Hi
Send application for 2132 category and it was received at nova scotia on 16/5/2014 . Can anyone guide me what are my chance of coming in the cap of 2132 .
As last year when i applied for same category on CIC website it showed 85 applicants when it was received but later it came back stating cap got filled with a wait of 5 months to get that communication from CIC with my application kit send back .
Thus want to know what is realistic chance for this year cap as on CIC website till today 15th June 2014 it is just showing 8 applicants for 2132 .
Await guidance on it if anyone has a better infomation about actual cap figures for 2132.

thanks in Advance
cheers
I think you shouldn't be worried. Although 2132 seems like a hot NOC but still 16th May is very safe. My application (NOC 2132) was received on 7th May and my CC was charged on 12th June. I guess your one will take 3-4 weeks more as the volume of applications was very high at that time.
Keep updating the spreadsheet with every single progress you get.
