Hi guys

I applied in the second week of December and received email from CIC on 3rd March that my application is eligible to be processed.

I got married on 2nd March. My husband works in Delhi and I work in Mumbai, so living separately for the time until one of us does not find job in the other city. I have few concerns.

it would be really appreciated if someone could help me out.

-What would be the next step from CIC now?
-at what stage I need to get PCC ready?
-when should I let CIC know about my marital status?
-would they object if we have to live in different cities for some more time?
-how can i check my application status using my UCI number?

Thank you so much in advance.

Best regards

Do inform about your marriage to your visa office after receiving per via cse...

They will send you list of required documents...

They will request you to send marriage questionaire, weddinwedding photographs nd contact details at lter stage..
While filling marriage questionnaire you have a chance to give reason why you are libing apart...

Use this link to check your ecas

Hello friends... Thanks all the forum members for the support and suggestion they have provided thru out process. many of the decision we took based on the suggestion given here.. most imp thing is delivering baby there as am 8 months now. So we have booked ticket in a week time after getting visa stamped so not to delay landing. Destination changed from Toronto to alberta. Mainly for health card, the other suggestion I read from the forum.

Ticket booked in British airways for Sunday morning from India bangalore. Wish and bless us. Anyone on the same airline and date? Please inform.

Following are the docs we are carrying other than personal items to clear immigration :
Passports stamped,
Copr provided by vo,
Passport size photos,
Pof - travelers cheque and draft (foreign currency demand draft),
Goods docs,
PR card application form,
Funds declaration form

Kindly confirm the docs for clearance.

Wishing everyone all the very best. Will be updating the forum once reaching there.

hi thr congrts.

"not sure" but have heard certain flight do not allow lady passengers who are 6 months + carrying.

so recheck

Hi guys....

I got my PPR mail today..It was pretty fast for me...My timelines are as follows:

App. filed date : 21-Jul-14
PER: 14-Nov-14
MR date : 11-Feb-15
Medical done : 13-Feb-15
PPR : 18-Mar-15

PCC sent along with RPRF and visited no foreign countries...

I would like to thank all valuable members of this forum without which i wouldn't have reached this far...

My consultant first told that my application could not be forwarded unless experience certificate is issued in company's letter head... But only after referring this forum I collected a reference letter from one of my colleagues which lead me to this situation.... Thanks a lot for all the advice again...

By the way Best of Luck for all people for further processing...
Congrats nd +1

Yes I heard of that also, they will require you of a certification from OB Gyne on which month you are and I think they won't allow if you're 6 months +.

Have you told the Travel Agency you're pregnant?

Better check it now and avoid hassle in the airport later just in case...

3 months since PER and not even 2nd line update :(

I know a lot of people with much earlier PERs are also waiting but really can't help feeling sad.

Hope NDVO gets a bit more streamlined and start working on applications awaiting 2nd line updates & MRs as well along with issuing PPR requests.

I second that... Please get process our applications. It's been more than 3 months since per.
