I would recommend all May-June applicants waiting post MR, RPRF, PCC for 3 or more months to apply for GCMS notes if not done already.
You will come to know whats going on with your application.
Also raise a CSE to visa office asking for status.

Already did and actually nothing is going on. They are just wasting due without any reason. :-X

Hi,
Anybody got deceision made status on their ecas prior to MR and after sometime of second line status? Some applicants reported that they got DM status and 2nd line update on the same day before MR. This can be assumed thosse who have just 2nd line on their ecas is guaranted to receive MR sooner or later as long as DM status after some days gap of 2nd line does not appear on their ecas.

Guys, I was at a bar, having beer with friends this evening.. and I just refresh my email on my phone, and there it was "Ready For Visa / Prêt pour le visa"!!!!

Got my PPR... thanks to everyone on this forum for the great support. Updating the excel sheet in the next 10 mins.

Friends few questions on which ur expert advice is solicited though the same might hv been answered n number of times. Kindly help :
1. Planning to go first, my wife and kid will join after 2-3 months. How POF is to be showed. M I suppose to show full amt or only amt that suffice 1 person and rest of the amt to be disclosed by my wife when she arrives?
2. Suppose I hv to disclose full amt then the amt will be more than 10K dollars. Shud I carry some cash and for remaining amt open bank account with Scotia bank and transfer amt into it then I need not show proofs abt that amt whch will b more than 10k or I hv to?
3. Regarding list of goods we carry, do we hv to make list for jewlry that we r wearing on daily basis. I mean i wear 4 rings and bracelet. Also, is it compulsory to get valuation certificate?

Lastly, all who r planning to travel in April or May, in case of no concerns plz let me know sotht can plan to begin journey together

DM line made after second line update is 99.9% rejection.

Once you get second line it means a Visa officer has been assigned to your file and depending on the quality of your file presentation can trigger a background check , if background check is initiated then 2nd line stays and MR will also be on hold,

If the VisA officer is satisfied with all what you have provided then you will get MR request within 20 days of second line.but ecas will still show only 2nd line.

I would recommend you to take all 3 option

If i would have been in your situation , i would divide total funds in 3 category

1.Travel cheque : This will be taken as proof of funds to be shown to Canada customs on landing in canada as mentioed in the below link.

------ you can get this from AmEx (American Express) or Thomas Cook

2.Forex card : Few thousands i.e 5000 - 6000 CAD dollors in card . This option will be good because opening a bank account once in canda and transfersing "Travel cheque" to your new account might take time.

------ you can get this from the bank you currently hold .

3.CASH (CAD): This is must option 2000 - 3000 CAD with changes will help you during travelling.

This is the AOR....You file processing has started and it has been moved to Warsaw. You should have got your PER recently or it should be in your email. Next they will send you MR request. In the meatime they would do your background check.

You can also check your ECAS status using the UCI number

I have got below email...Does it mean my PER is due In short, UCI was allotted to me.

In my case 2nd line was updated on 24th Nov. But I have not received MR and no verification at employer. my consultant says my application is under normal processing times. any idea why few of applicants like me are still stuck at 2nd line. Any ray of hope would give strength.
