Guys, you are very much lucky that you have received PPR.

Try and understand our situation, who are still struggling for getting second line update or MR.

Enjoy your remaining days in your native and don't worry about your passport, one thing is 100% sure that you will receive back your passport in few days.

And please help those people who have queries and concerns as you are senior to the forum rather than getting worried about your passport[/size][/size][/size][/size][/size][/size]

Thanks.. Unfortunately I don't have friends/relatives in Canada. I am planning to come back after getting PR Card, so I am looking for some decent budget stay for 6 weeks to provide address for PR Card.

Would suggest, initially book for few days stay through Airbnb.com or stay at a relative or friend and then search for a good acco once in Toronto by physically inspecting properties.

Call them on 1-888-242-2100 and then choose option 1-2-0 or 1-3-0 to speak to an agent. Call them after it over processing time mentioned on CIC website and ask them about status of your application.

I have a broad smile while typing this message .... I just checked my FedEx prepaid tracking number and I see my passport has been dispatched from the local VO, what an exciting feeling. I have been checking my Fedex every 15 mins for the last 2 days, I am so relieved. Will let you guys know what happens..

Today I have collected my Passport with stamp and COPR, will be travelling next month.

I have a very silly question, someone already there in Canada might answer...i heard that Apple I phone that we have purchased from India won't work in Canada due to difference in technical specifications. Is it true? if yes then i will sell off my recently purchased I phone 6. Somebody pls give some inputs here.

Today its a DM on eCAS. After long wait 3rd line also updated along with 4th Line.

Earlier on 9th March i already received PPR. Submitted passports to Riyad VO through VFS on 12th March 2015.

Wait Begins for Visa & COPRs.

New processing timeline is 18 Calender days based on March 7th update.

For the family of 2 -3 approx. 3000 to 4000 CAD in cash and as much as you can should carry in form of DDs and TCs. Also don't forget to declare if the amount exceeds 10K CAD
