Hi Team,

I am NOC 2171 candidate(Application received by CIC on October 10, 2015) and haven't heard back anything from CIC.

Someone told me that i am out of race back in Jan 2015 however i had sent query email to CIC but no response on that also.

Hence i called up CIC yesterday and agent on call told me that my application is returned on February 10, 2015 because visa cap has reached.

It has been more than one month but haven't received package at mailing address.

Can someone tell me from experience that how much time will it take to deliver package from Canada to India ? Is there a way to track it ??

Certainly you will. As long as your PP reached the CHC. You can be sure about that by getting the Bluedart POD.

Hi All,

Somethingh strange happen to my application which reached on 21st October and DD En-cash was 30th Dec
and on 7th March i got mail that my points are lacking i.e i have obtained 66 points.And therefore they are refusing my application.
But my Consultant completed my 67 points.I have 6 years of experience (3 years of part time and 3 years of regular).So instead of 15 point they gave me 13 point.
I am really disappointed. Don't know what next to do.
Can i send a query mail to CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca? Will they take my query to consideration.
Please guide me or share your views that what next needs to be done.

jjmoha as per my calculation you are eligible for 13 points for your 4.5 years of work experience..as your 3 years part time experience is counted as a 1.5 years of full time experience..so 1.5 plus 3 years of full time work makes total 4.5 years and for 4-5 years of experience you get 13 points...i am not a consultant but since one month i am studying all this..may be seniors can help you more on this..n if it is true that i am 100% sure then get all your money back from consultant for misguiding you as he/she should know all these rules!!!...and dont worry canada is not everything you need in life..

I am delighted to inform you that finally i got my stamped passport back with COPR today from VFS New Delhi.

Complete timeline below:

App Received: 14th May
NOC: 2174
VO: NDVO
PER: 21st Aug
MR/PCC/RPRF: 4th Nov (PCC sent along with MR and RPRF)
Medicals done: 9th Nov
Third line update in ECAS: 15th Nov
Decision Made: 27th Feb
PPR: 27th Feb
Passport Deposited: 2nd March to VFS New Delhi (in person)
Passport Returned: 12th March from VFS New Delhi (in person)

Thanks to all my dear forum members for a sincere advice every time i had a doubt.

For all my friends who are waiting for MR/DM/PPR/Passport return, i wish you a speedy stamping.

No buddy, I don't think so.
Here is my take.

Basis the reduce inflow of updated on Monday's I am inclined to believe that on Monday is when the Visa issuance is taken care of @ NDVO.
2nd was a Monday and maybe by Tue or Wed is when you PP would have reached VO.
I hope by this logic, your passport was stamped yesterday and may be under the process of being collected by VFS.
In which case by tomorrow or day after you should have it ready for collection.

Do share when you get it to help me understand if the assumptions above are correct.

Now that you have the VO.
Raise a CSE to CVO and advise them of the change in you family.
Ask them on the docs needed and hwo to pay the fees. They will get back.

I gather it's close to a year from you MR submitted date.
That's provided, you Passport has a validity to cover that period.
Say you PP expires in the 7th month then you Visa will also be only till the 7th month.

Question: How much time do we have to land in Canada, once our passports have been stamped? I heard 3 months. Is this correct.

Has anyone provided the same address for correspondence and residence in his application and his E-cas page showed any change regarding adding the 2 fields on the page ? Many have reported that the residence address has been added next to the mailing address in case of providing different addresses. But I wonder whether it happened for those who had provided the same address.

I see same addresses under current and mailing! I have not provided two different addresses in my application!

Finally NDVO is sending MR's, that's good.

Smoke has no affect on the tests as long as it hasent cause irreversible damage to your body.
I am a regular smoker and think my meds went fine.

My suggestion, dont wait. The sooner you get through MR, the sooner the window of PPR opens.

Got MR mail couple of minutes back.

Please advise:

1. Should i wait for 2 weeks to do the medicals as I smoke sometime and just do not want this thing to hamper anything in medical.
2. should i inform the medical officer if he asks for smoking habits.
